Did you have any preferences between the miflex or rubber hoses for both the high pressure and/or medium pressure hoses?

I've found miflex hoses to be annoying if used for long hose. They float from around your neck, refuse to remain in the shape you've curved them, chafe due to braid, don't stay stowed since they are slippery and most importantly kink easier potentially blocking flow. In short configuration they provide less jaw fatigue but i rarely am using the short necklace to warrant the downsides.

Another great video! Do you bungee your SPGs to your first stage or do you let them sit flush with the tank? I see a fair amount of divers with the bungees, but it makes me uncomfortable to see how much the hoses have to bend to do it.
Here's an example of what I'm talking about: img1.wsimg.com/isteam/ip/fd81e77c-9025-4050-acca-e72b7da0b93b/b1d71a77-45de-4a37-9c48-e7311ce5d2c5.jpg/:/cr=t:0%25,l:0%25,w:100%25,h:100%25/rs=w:800,cg:true

Hello Chris. Thanks for watching. I put the 6 inch hose in a bottom port and bungee the gauges tight to the top. I also find it a bit disturbing to bend the hose in a tight loop like that. You can take off the bungee when the regulator is not being used to relieve some of the stress. The bungee can also be used as a hanging loop during storage. I have only actually seen one crimp rupture as a result of this. I did not know the source of the hose or it’s history. But just to be safe I always carry an extra one in my spare parts kit.
