Tried this at a Yamaha demo event after the folks working there begged me. I had be trying the XSR900 and MT-09. After I rode the MT-10SP with all the rider aids and wheelie control turned OFF, I didn't want anything to do with those 9s anymore. Hands down the most fun streetbike I'd ever ridden.
Effortless power wheelies. I love it. Reminds me of my first Gen R1 back in 98. No rider aids, no electronics and carbs. That bike was so light it would wheelie on command.
Mad skills dude! So impressive to see someone have that much control on a wheelie. I have a regular mt10 but all the right mods done. Wheelbase on mt10's is SUPER short, shorter than both R1 and little brother mt09 so they reach that balance point fast and will send you on you arse in a heartbeat if you're not skilled with that back brake.

That sound totally outstanding ... I had 2015 Yamaha MT09 loved it to bits , currently got a 2020 Triumph Speed Triple 1050RS, it's bonkers. Well not as bonkers as that.. I want one :)
The bike does everything so easy. 200km/h, no sweat. 180 km/h power wheelies, still 4k revs to redline. Acceleration looks so smooth compared to the MT09. And she loves to lean, that 130 left turn looked like it still had some angle left on the tires. The 09 sound with Ixil exhausts is still better XD
In Taiwan, you are also required to use flashing headlights to signal that you intend to overtake. However, hardly anyone does this because it tends to infuriate the other driver.

Däremot föredrar jag mt 07ans bmx feel framför både mt09 och mt10. Varför har vi inte sommmar året om i Norrland?!

Thank you man! 🙏 on this bike I only have a scorpion cat-delete with standard muffler. :) was planning to do a flash, but was surprised by how good the standard ecu worked with just cat-delete. 🙌
If you ever sell the bike, be sure to let the buyers know that the front wheel has half as many miles on it as the rear wheel 😆

The engine probably has severe damage already, prolonged wheelies starve the engine of oil, seen plenty of engine die prematurely due to that

you can turn all the rider aids off from the settings (atleast on an MT09 you can, dont see why wouldnt you be able to do it on MT-10 too)

Both are great fun! But if you are not super tall/heavy, and not interested in pulling wheelies at high speeds than the 09 is plenty enough. :)
I owned a 2021 mt10 and I miss it dearly was a fast fun bike but I got about 30mpg's
looks like one of the few people this bike was made for.
It's a shame that Yamaha doesn't bring it here to Brazil, our market and conditions are complicated

On GoPro, set max iso to below 800. Us ND filter on brighter days, I bought a “mic filter case” for my GoPro to fix the noise.

Yeah don't go MT10 as a new rider 😅 I'd been riding for like 6-7 years before getting my 10 and it humbled me pretty quickly
