Well.....When the Smuts are in they are in....and you can't beat a big female Smut..
I had a feeling about the mark I tried last year it produced a lot of bream inc a gilt so just had to try it for Smoothounds and it certainly paid off....looking back through my records it is a PB I've had quit a few up to just under 17lb....so is HAPPY 😀😀
So 8 in total 5 over 10lb
But seeing those 2 strap Eels very early certainly doesn't boost ya spirits 🤣🤣🤣
A cracking trip not to many nuisance fish so the Smoothounds certainly good get on the bait......

You could beat that 8.8 at any time doesn't even have to be in the smut season...quit often September will throw up a big smut.....
