the brother was doing well until he called him a playboy & he's not buying it, maybe he did pick up on the connection vibe or lack thereof, but to accuse Sean of being a playboy

Her brother's delivery of this could have been better, but Sean said on Reality Steve's podcast that everything he said was "pretty spot on". He knew Desiree was probably going to be the one going home that week and her brother picked up on it. He wanted his sister to be happy and be with someone who feels the same way about her that she does for him, so I can't blame him for doing this.
Agreed. And people forget that during the Bachelorette, Desiree's brother liked Chris right away. He never had a bad thing to say about Chris. He could tell that Chris was 100% committed to Desiree. I feel like he meant well and apparently his advice was spot on anyway.

@@stephenstaedtler6902 Yeah, playboy was off, Sean was in the show for the right reasons. But except from that, he was right and that's even more the concept of the show than Sean not falling for his sister. That's a bro who really cares about his sister.
This is why you never want to go on a home town date unless they are a definite consideration. But unfortunately they have a show to produce.
Her brother couldn’t have been more wrong about Sean. Eight years later, and he’s married with 3 kids. One of The Bachelor success stories.
His judment was wrong but its hard to fully blame him. You see this guy on tv kissing other women on the show, its how things are in the show but hes looking out for his sister. He was wrong about his character but also had good reason for his concerns.

Even though the guy could have handled the delivery better, he was 100% correct. Maybe not that Sean was a Playboy, but he was right in saying Sean wasn't the one and that Desiree wasn't the one for him either.
Sean admitted on reality Steve's podcast when everything was over that her brother's assessment was actually true!

The brother ruined it instead of supporting his sister he decided to make it all about himself.
I think Sean handled it well. I think he could have acknowledged that her brother is protective and skeptical of the situation. He didn’t want his sister to get hurt and yet he was not very nice to Sean. I do think Sean is a nice guy and not a playboy.

The "recipercation" haha oh man, bless him he was protecting his sister. But he looks like a jail bird and too aggressive so I don't blame Sean backing up. I do think the parents/family can make or break the relationship.

Her brother does not seem gentleman like. Like a guy I would not want to be alone in a room with. Which is probably why he can’t understand Sean being in his shoes not being a playboy. Because Nate wouldn’t have the capability to take on a Bachelor role and be a gentleman.

Looking back, yes the brother was tough but I don’t think he was fully wrong. He is very observant on how Sean was around Desiree. He knew the truth that Sean didn’t want to be with Desiree at the end of this and hates how she is wasting her time. He is just a brother that truly cares about his sister

I mean technically the brother wasnt way off. He told Desiree he wasn't the one and guess what? he wasn't. When he met Chris he didn't say anything bad to Chris because he knew Chris loved her. I think the brothers intubation is pretty good when it comes to telling when someones being sincere. Sean said he knew he was going to send Desiree home during hometowns and maybe the brother picked up on the queues. Either way he was right. Just the approach was bad lol

I think one he is jealous of Sean with all the women. I think her brother is the real player and he is over protective of his sister.
At the time I thought the brother was out of line. Looking back, he was harsh and still a bit out of line, but he was right about those two. And I wouldn't want my sister going on a show trying to win the heart of man whose heart is also with other girls.I know that's the nature of the show, but I'm not super supportive of it.
Sean was intimidated by him. Didn’t keep eye contact, didn’t even try to defend himself. Just looked at the ground.

This is WHY the modality of the Bachelor forced to pick no less than 4 woman to take for "hometown" dates is 100% wrong and unfair. Allow the man to choose who truly has a chance for a proposal !
i agree. i think only the final 2 women should get hometowns and also get to visit the lead's hometown. 4 contestants involving their families in this mess is not right.
