Milunka Savic was a real-life Wonder Woman deserving of every accolade possible and her story should be made into a movie. As a Serbian woman whose great-grandfather fought alongside Milunka on the Salonika Front in WW1 this video actually brought tears to my eyes.
Another amazing think about Milunka: During one battle, she captured a bunch of enemy soldiers (Bulgarians if I remember right), one of who was so impressed by her, that when the war ended he sent his eldest son (who had been in military academy)to her, so she could teach him how to be a proper soldier. It's more incredible when you think that back then, women were seen to be inferior to men in almost everything, so sending his son to her shows the immense respect involved.
Well, almost correct but he actually sent his son to finish schooling in Belgrade and told him to look up Milunka if he needed anything, long story short , the kid actually married one of Milunkas daughters
I find it amazing that the story of this incredibly brave and ferocious Warrior is not more well known. The video and song only tell part of her story. She fought in the Balkan wars and WW1, was wounded nine times, and won the highest awards from several nations, including Russia, France, Serbia (twice), and the UK. In WW2, she refused to attend a banquet given by a Nazi collaborator and was sent to a concentration camp, where she was imprisoned for 10 months. the French awarded her the Légion d’Honneur twice as well as the Croix de Guerre (she is the only female ever awarded this medal) and offered her French citizenship and a lifetime pension, but instead she chose to return to her beloved Serbia where she worked as a cleaning lady. To add further to this. One of the German soldiers at the camp recognized her as his life was spared by her years ago halted her execution and released her.

They are on another level, just like you said in the previous video. If i just mention one song. The Lion From The North. Trust me! Also the guitar work in that song, absolutely amazing! She skillfully disguised herself as a woman until she was wounded the third time. when they bandaged her, they saw that she was female. She was wounded a total of 9 times. After the war, France offered to live and be an honorary citizen of France, she refused and remained living a modest life in Serbia. It should also be said that Milunka is the woman in the world most decorated with medals for bravery and participation in battles.

Secound sound abaut Serbian heroes . Tnx Sabaton. Next must be abaut Milos Obilic , Serbian hero from Dragon order of knight (like Vlad Cepesh) , who kill Ottaman Sultan in battle of Kosovo 1389 y. He promise our king that kill sultan night before battle and do this.
