@@g43654 No. The factories can often offer other prices on service, since they put the shoes back into the line. If you can wait, it is often quite cheap. In Sweden these boots cost 5000 SEK, so the repair is ca 60% of new pairs.
The fact that you took the time to do the extra step of reinforcing the gemming which no one would notice speaks volumes to your craftsmanship

Resole with reinforcement of gemming: ca 2300 SEK (2021). Heel linings with reparation of the heel stiffeners: ca 800 SEK
