i'm curious as to whether rhyolite's problem with cinnamon having the swirly singing thing is a matter of "hey only i should be able to do that" or "i needed to suffer severe trauma to do that, why do you get to learn it without the trauma"
I believe its both if I correctly recall what was written on Rhyolite's wiki page! He believed that he was the only one able to soul-sing and loved it when it was that way, and he was both jealous and angry when Cinnamon turned out to be able to do it, too (albeit out of love instead of trauma like him).

I LOVE every new video that comes out abt these guys and Foxglove. It’s really interesting to see the story play out over the course of a few 3 minute videos and it’s not a path most story-tellers take. I’m excited to see how the story progresses from here!!!

I'm more new to watching this channel so after watching the Who is she video and reading comments, I think this. The black cat with red eyes (and one blind) is his mother who abused him and killed his father (who has the scars on his right eye). He feel in love but the other cat seems to ignore her completely just for him. However, when they...sing?? The magic stuff flows from their souls I think. Rhyolite has red magic that he most likely assumes is superior, but after his (mate?) starts doing her little sing thing he probably finds it weak or offensive because it's blue and not his "superior red"
He tries to kill her, but another cat steps in to save her. However she is already pregnant with his kittens I think- by looking at the swollen belly. Sumac see's this as a opportunity to mate with Rhyolite now that he despises the other cat and his previous mate.

are we allowed to make fan animatics or pmvs for ode to epilogue? i was thinking abt the song "empty page" and felt like it fit both rhyolite and foxglove a lot (cycle of abuse baybeee)

The song didn’t really go well with the story? The art was great but just didn’t see the lyrics lining up or being close to the story being told
I thought most of the lyrics lined up though?
The lyrics lined up pretty perfectly tbh? Its a continuation of a previous PMV, so some parts of the story isnt gonna be visible
