By Lord Shiva's boon Saint Narayana was reborn as Lord Krishna. Only he had knowledge of everyone's 2 births rest all yudhisthira, bhishma ,etc. Had knowledge of current birth. Upon permission from Lord Shiva to Lord Krishna and Arjuna he was allowed to see Vishwaroop.
