Every Tweet, Famiboards, 4chan, or Reddit post that even hints at something Switch 2 related is guaranteed to have all Nintendo UA-camrs in lock step putting out new videos 😂
The Switch 2 needs months of marketing to build up hype? Seriously? Hype is already through the roof; they will fly off the shelves in March with day one purchases. Nintendo will have months to sell anyone else when there is eventually new stock in stores, in the summer, fall, and Christmas. Why does everyone have to be sold on day one? Nintendo does not need to do anything more than release the product in stores and we will buy it and put it out of stock everywhere. The only real reason I could believe for further delays is to wait for completion of a launch title.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will be the PlayStation 2 of this generation... selling without the need to advertise. People are already hyped because the first one was so good.
As a foreigner living in Japan I’m honestly scared I won’t be able to pick one up on release. EVERYONE , children, adults and OAPs play Nintendo Switch.
I don't find this as outlandish as RGT is portraying it. We got the October 2016 trailer because the WiiU was dead. Nintendo wanted to show something to start building hype. It then had a roughly 1 hour presentation to properly reveal the Switch in January 2017; it's where they went more in depth with the Joy-Cons, the system itself, and showed off ARMS and 1,2, Switch. They do not need to build hype for the Switch 2. People are familiar with the concept of the Switch. I can totally see them revealing the system in January 2025 and releasing it in March 2025.
RGT is stuck in the Ganecube era where they announce things 6-8 months in advance. That hasn’t happened in about 10 years. We live in such a digital age that these tech companies can show off a device and launch it 3 months later
Yeah keep in mind that Nintendo wants to break that record for most consoles sold with the Switch. They're not going to crush Christmas sales by giving details and release date on Switch 2. Idk if these rumors are credible, but I'd say a March release with a January direct is likely.

However we should take into account that on October 2016 - they dropped a trailer for the console. Thats one difference. If the rumors are correct.
March makes sense if theyre worried about having enough supplies for the holidays. It gives people a chance. If it released closer to the holidays the scalpers will ruin christmas.
There is a January Nintendo Direct announcing it so that they curb the loss of holiday sales, then they're releasing in March-April to have a really amazing q1 of their next financial year. It's really not that complicated to figure out
It's already been rumoured to be in mass production since august-october. So it's not unfathomable. This is the same nintendo which has released games and derivatives of its consoles within 3 months of announcing them after all.
It's not a farfetched notion to explore tbh. And it could mean faster stock rotation to avoid scalping, without items sitting in storage for many months once mass assembly starts. You can colour any rumour with cynicism, but it gave you content for views. News articles can do what they like with the information, it doesn't mean the UA-camrs are wrong for keeping people in the loop with potentially exciting developments. They get paid for creating, you can choose to get paid for berating. Just try not to act like you're above them.
It’s really not inconceivable that they might go for a three month announcement to release cycle. Most major mobile phones have way smaller windows than that so a new gaming platform could potentially make it work as long as they absolutely bombarded us with marketing.
Yeah, I dunno how he cherry-picked the Lite and OLED launch, but not the ACTUAL launch.... 🤔 This seems like common sense. Have it launch with a great game in March and have another one ready for Holidays 2025. They did this in 2017 with BotW/Odyssey. Seems very reasonable to me... *shrug*
Totally different circumstances. For one, it is November 2024 and we have not even gotten an "official" code-name for the console yet. "OZ" (which probably means the name "Oz" as in _The Wizard of Oz_ and not the measurement "ounce") has not even been confirmed by Nintendo as an official code-name. Next, Eurogamer blew the whistle on what the Switch was all the way back in July of 2016. Then, we got the teaser-trailer in October 2016. That's six months before launch of the console. Lastly, Nintendo needed to act fast with the Switch because of how terrible things were for the Wii U. Right now, Nintendo isn't in any hurry and they don't need to be. There is no reason for them to be this quiet for this long just to do a rush-job launch to the Switch successor. Literally makes NO SENSE AT ALL to do that. Not only that, Nintendo has an investors meeting scheduled for February of 2025 and it is *HIGHLY* unlikely that they would reveal the console before then. If the Switch successor was coming anytime soon, they would have dropped a trailer before the November investors meeting. I honestly believe that Nintendo has gone back to it's original console schedule. Console reveal in the Summer, console release in the Holiday. That is the format used for the Wii U, Wii, and GameCube. All were "fully" unveiled at E3, and all were released in November. I think Nintendo's Summer Direct during the Summer Games Fest timeframe will be when he get the full unveiling of the device. I think we'll get a trailer in February.

I dunno when it will be released. Summer? Revealed in March, released in June? Nintendo has said in the past that releasing in June helps as compared to releasing during the holidays, because the curious and day one adopters will make the initial sell through, giving Nintendo time to manufacture more to sell to the general public during the holidays. No. Consoles do not have such a long marketing lead up to launch anymore. Especially an iterative console like the Switch 2 do not need such a long time.
It’s entirely possible to launch March with a reveal in Jan if Nintendo is already way ahead of the game and preparing to ship marketing materials etc. With almost 150 million user base I bet they are knee deep into production as they would likely need 10-30 millions units ready at launch to meet demand.
Switch 1 was originally released in March, the advantage of releasing earlier in the year is scalpers are unlikely to hold stock by the time XMAS arrives as the factories manufacturing Switch 2s eventually improve their efficiencies (reduced faults, faster to build, cheaper to build), also by the time XMAS arrives more games should have released. If you look how ridiculously big the heat sink was on the PS5 because they were scared of having a Red ring of doom that the XBox 360 did.

I literally am not the source for any of it, it's all famiboards and weibo. Also time doesn't guarantee anything. Wii U was announced in 2010. It released in 2012. People were still confused. You don't need a lot of time to market something, if it's obvious in all facets. Kinda like phones. That being said, it's just a rumor.
@@isakwolff5491 You need a ton of time to explain what a new mario game is? Keep in mind, this "long marketing" cycle people think games get, basically is just a tease or reveal, then nothing until basically two months before a game comes out.
I mean, don't really trust those sources, but I think they are just hedging on some likely speculation. Nintendo has publicly stated they are going to announce the console during this fiscal year (so by March 31, 2025). Seems like they are going to get their holiday sales so won't see anything in December, but January is possible (I actually think a February Nintendo direct type thing). As to release, I do think March is a little early (even though the Switch released in March) but I do think it is going to be WAY before the holidays. I expect more like summertime or possibly just before like May. I think Nintendo made a lot of mistakes with the Wii U and they do want to avoid that confusion, but at the same time just from spec leaks, fully backwards compatibility, and similar things I think the Switch 2 is just not going to be that different. Probably just somewhat more powerful, slightly redesigned controllers, maybe a slightly different form factor. Not sure there will need to be much run up. But hey, this is all just wild speculation, no inside information, and interested to see how wrong that may all be.
I'll put it this way I'd be shocked if it released in March. However does the switch 2 really need a long marketing period to sell? The answer is of course know if they decided to show it in January and put it out on the shelves say the end of March or even April would it sell it would. They absolutely do not need a large marketing push for this anything that they threw out there at this point would sell. However without all being said there is no way Nintendo would do that my guess is they'll show the switch to in March before the end of the fiscal year. Earliest release would be June realistically maybe a release in September unless they really did want to wait and push it for the holidays but I don't think they will.
@PhoenixWrong-n7y i recently did myself, I don't watch his videos daily but they popped up every once in a while and it was always click bait. I had enough and dipped. @PhoenixWrong-nS7y Same. Too much clickbait. Like a TON of clickbait. I wanted to like the guy for his cheesy "Good morning Mario" vibes (I like cheesy), but he just wasn't reliable at all, unfortunately.
Nintendo Prime is the reason I gravitated over this channel instead. Dude grasps for straws on anything Switch related, he practically perpetuates his own hype over the tiniest menial rumors, not facts, just rumors lol
That’s been known for YEARS. Since the Switch release to my knowledge. But RGT ain’t that much better either. He too will grasp for any surging Switch2 rumors too. He’ll quickly “clear up” these rumors by making videos on them. Both takes a different approach to the same end.
@@thelastdragon5551the rumors are out there. I'd rather watch a quick video telling me whether it's substantiated or bogus than have no idea. That's why I watch this channel.
@@rogerschneider5971 Any title that ends with a ? I won’t fall for. All speculations from deep sources and it rarely comes true. The only thing I’m interested with the Switch2 is backwards compatibility and we got that confirmation from Nintendo themselves a few weeks back. Sorry but I’m saving my hype for actually photo leaks. Or perhaps some substantial feature on the unit like dual screen. Everything else we know for sure. Like power. No ones taking these leaks and rumors as gospel. It makes for an entertaining background noise when you do other things.
it will be "announced" in March......not released.....the game awards are in February....Nintendo wants the spotlight to themselves, so they will wait a month to announce their next system! 🙄🙄🙄
Yall gotta stop acting like you don’t see the question marks in the thumbnail as well as the look on RGT’s face😂. This is NOT clickbait..we all know it’s speculation
The thing is, just like the lite and the OLED, think the Switch 2 is just going to be a Switch Pro. I don't think its going to something spectacular or drastically different. So based on your logic, and if that's true (the Switch 2 just being another revision or upgrade), then yea they could just show it real quick in January with a March release.
With them saying it's coming out within this fiscal year I think March is a solid estimate on release. They need to reveal it in the next few weeks though for sure and not wait till January
No way it’s out in March 2025. Fall of 2025 is likely with Metroid prime 4 and Zelda Ocarina of time remake out on release day . 2026 Mario kart X Mario Odyssey 2 2027 hype around next Zelda , Windwaker / twilight remastered as we wait . Splatoon 4 Smash 2028 new Zelda New animal crossing New Pokémon New piikmin Just some of the big releases. My Uncle works at Nintendo
The fact that the concept is not going to change much from Switch 1, do they really need to tease Switch 2 beforehand? Technically the main announcement of the Switch also happened in January then released in March. It is plausible. Also the fact that it is backwards compatible with Switch 1 games is doable.
Audience is slowly turning on you man, it’s well deserved too. You said a year ago you were changing the channel for the batter, the same clickbait, same crybaby rant videos
7:32 One could argue that the Switch selling better is why they would do this. The Wii U wasn’t selling, so announcing the Switch earlier(NX was announced in 2015) was done to let people know what was coming next. With the Switch not dead, it does make sense to not announce the next system till you’re relatively close to release. Not saying it’ll be 2 months, but they could announce the system in before the fiscal year ends and release it before June.
Most likely scenario is it being announced in a February direct and coming out by the end of summer. My theory is the name Nintendo Switch Beyond. Like Batman Beyond.
This is the same path they did with Switch.Trailer will probably drop late December or early January, then late January a presentation revealing console and release date with preorders going up the same night.Early in year is best time to release a console because it’s going to sell out and at least they have many months before holiday season to keep shipping and restocking throughout the months
I don't think it will drop in March. The only reason why it would even be a thought in my mind is the President of Nintendo saying It would not effect anything when it comes to the Nintendo switch. Makes it seem like well no big deal really just do a fast launch.
these people are insane a game can release other platforms in march then be available on switch 2 launch in holiday of 2025 … nintendo prime is not popular lol
End of March announcement, mid-September release. Nintendo will crush the next holiday if they just hang on a little bit longer. Why risk the "Its been out a while" buzz by releasing in March? Plus, those who buy a Switch 1 this holiday won't feel so bad if March is simply an announcement as they will have had a least close to year with the older system. I don't think Nintendo wants anyone to feel burned. April till August will be Nintendo building hype for the system.
I doubt they'd wait til Holiday 2025. The OG switch launched in March of '17. So, it's feasible for Spring-Summer imo. I'm any case, I'll be getting one so patience is the game.
As long as they call it the Switch 2, I think it’s immediately clear it’s gonna be a successor, as long they make it clear it’s an upgrade like from PS4 to PS5. When I tell my casual gaming friends that, it clicks immediately. I think the focus needs to be on how good the launch games are I dont think 2-2.5 months is completely impossible, as long as they go GTA V levels of promo - which they definitely have the cash to do.
I don't think it even matters when they do. Not to many gamers will go back to their cheap hardware and greedy tactics after how bad switch was and their controversy destroying game preservation.
@RGT 85 Well It wouldexplain why all the Nintendo switch bundles are on sale for Black Friday at the majority of your retail outlets for perhaps to clear out a majority of its inventory to make room for something newer?
They would have had to announce this in October at the latest to have a 2025 Q1 release. If they release in Q1 without proper marketing and time, they risk having a WiiU level catastrophe with consumers being unaware what this new console is or why they need to upgrade. Especially after a recent ps5 pro release people might think this next Nintendo is just a mid gen upgrade. Nintendo needs to be very very careful with how they launch this switch follow up.
Generally speaking, enough of Nintendo and dragging out the production of their next console, I bought a Portal and will start enjoying my P.S. 5 library and unless the new console spits gold coins every time it is powered up, I will no longer be in any rush to purchase one.

No. Consoles do not have such a long marketing lead up to launch anymore. Especially an iterative console like the Switch 2 do not need such a long time.
Another switch 2 video! Hooray! Just what we all wanted.
It’s entirely possible to launch March with a reveal in Jan if Nintendo is already way ahead of the game and preparing to ship marketing materials etc. With almost 150 million user base I bet they are knee deep into production as they would likely need 10-30 millions units ready at launch to meet demand.
My opinion is I unsubscribe from nintendo prime because of this
We all are. Lots of these guys are getting bad
Nintendo did conduct a "Nintendo Live" on January 2017 and showcased the Switch there and announced the released on March 2017. Its the same with the way they have done last time.
However we should take into account that on October 2016 - they dropped a trailer for the console. Thats one difference. If the rumors are correct.
Don't be a Switch Force or Nintendo Prime if you want to keep your subscribers man!👑
How people keep falling for fake leaks 💀💀💀💀
I literally am not the source for any of it, it's all famiboards and weibo. Also time doesn't guarantee anything. Wii U was announced in 2010. It released in 2012. People were still confused.
You don't need a lot of time to market something, if it's obvious in all facets. Kinda like phones.
That being said, it's just a rumor.
You need to have marketing for the games that is there for the start there, so that alone just makes your argument invalid
Do we see your first Switch 2 Pro video in 25? 🤔
@@isakwolff5491 You need a ton of time to explain what a new mario game is? Keep in mind, this "long marketing" cycle people think games get, basically is just a tease or reveal, then nothing until basically two months before a game comes out.
January is just copium. Nintendo will unveil their new hardware by March.
Nintendo did say the end of this fiscal year, which is March…..
My favorite Ouya UA-camr talking about Nintendo warms my loins
I didn’t watch the video, I just came here to do this……….🤦🏻♂️
Heard it here first, RGT guarantees Switch 2 release in March 2025
I'll put it this way I'd be shocked if it released in March. However does the switch 2 really need a long marketing period to sell? The answer is of course know if they decided to show it in January and put it out on the shelves say the end of March or even April would it sell it would. They absolutely do not need a large marketing push for this anything that they threw out there at this point would sell. However without all being said there is no way Nintendo would do that my guess is they'll show the switch to in March before the end of the fiscal year. Earliest release would be June realistically maybe a release in September unless they really did want to wait and push it for the holidays but I don't think they will.
Reveal either March or April 2025 with a release in the holiday season timeframe of that same year.
I can confirm we will see switch 2 in our lifetime
I can’t wait to watch Switchforce today about this credible rumor.
All these websites reporting this are getting this from one source. Take it with a grain of salt until Nintendo themselves announces it.
Dead serious I'm sick of Nintendo prime and Switchforce both creators just gush out rumors and click bait like a mf.
I unsubbed switchforce due to that and the final straw when he told me who to vote for.
@204017754 yeah I would have to agree, I really have an issue with people telling me who to vote for.
I unsubscribed to Switch Force years ago.
@PhoenixWrong-n7y i recently did myself, I don't watch his videos daily but they popped up every once in a while and it was always click bait. I had enough and dipped. The one thing I like about RGT is he always has a topic to talk about and very blunt and truthful about what he says. That's why I watch his videos daily
@PhoenixWrong-nS7y Same. Too much clickbait. Like a TON of clickbait. I wanted to like the guy for his cheesy "Good morning Mario" vibes (I like cheesy), but he just wasn't reliable at all, unfortunately.
I'm from the future, year 2030. The Nintendo Switch 2 is not out yet.
Nintendo Prime is the reason I gravitated over this channel instead. Dude grasps for straws on anything Switch related, he practically perpetuates his own hype over the tiniest menial rumors, not facts, just rumors lol
Some people just like watching Nintendo UA-camrs
That’s been known for YEARS. Since the Switch release to my knowledge. But RGT ain’t that much better either. He too will grasp for any surging Switch2 rumors too. He’ll quickly “clear up” these rumors by making videos on them. Both takes a different approach to the same end.
They all do, the guy is funny though, the only reason why I watch him 😅
@@thelastdragon5551the rumors are out there.
Boom clickbait. Thank you. I needed it today.
People not reading and paying attention is how we got into this mess for the next 4 years.
Yall gotta stop acting like you don’t see the question marks in the thumbnail as well as the look on RGT’s face😂. This is NOT clickbait..we all know it’s speculation
The only thing missing in this video was “THE NINTENDO SWITCH TEWWW!!!” Nintendo Prime impersonation 😂
Can you dig in and find out every Sega title being de-listed in December? Perhaps a segment on that? Sorry if I missed it before.
There’s a rumor that the Nintendo Switch 2 will have Sponge like features and will soak up any bodily fluid. 😂
With them saying it's coming out within this fiscal year I think March is a solid estimate on release. They need to reveal it in the next few weeks though for sure and not wait till January
I’d rather march or early summer. I don’t want a holiday release :/ it will be hard to get one….i mean i also don’t want to wait too long lol
LOL. They are not announcing it before the end of the year. They still want to make money during Christmas and sell the current switch.
No way it’s out in March 2025. Fall of 2025 is likely with Metroid prime 4 and Zelda Ocarina of time remake out on release day .
2026 Mario kart X
Mario Odyssey 2
2027 hype around next Zelda , Windwaker / twilight remastered as we wait .
Splatoon 4
Smash
2028 new Zelda
New animal crossing
New Pokémon
New piikmin
Just some of the big releases. My Uncle works at Nintendo
My uncle, friends with your uncle, said the Mario Kart will be full 3d.
The fact that the concept is not going to change much from Switch 1, do they really need to tease Switch 2 beforehand? Technically the main announcement of the Switch also happened in January then released in March. It is plausible. Also the fact that it is backwards compatible with Switch 1 games is doable.
RGT is funny. Talks about how he has to dig for evidence of the clickbait title then talks about there not being any real evidence.
Audience is slowly turning on you man, it’s well deserved too. You said a year ago you were changing the channel for the batter, the same clickbait, same crybaby rant videos
Correct me if i am wrong but weren't you complaining about people making switch 2 content?
Buy it don't update it until someone hacks it.
I don’t believe any rumors till Nintendo says it happening then I’ll believe it they are very tight lipped
New Nitendo Switch it is being launch in march since 2023….. 😂🤣
Nintendo 2025:" Lets announce a Nintendo radio.
That would be more interesting than the Switch 2.
Really RGT85, you going along with the stupid rumors, and here I thought you couldn't care less about the Switch 2 BS? 😂😂
I doubt they'd wait til Holiday 2025. The OG switch launched in March of '17. So, it's feasible for Spring-Summer imo. I'm any case, I'll be getting one so patience is the game.
Especially, since the Switch really feels like a summer console/handheld to be played outside.
@@LG555 exactly!
@@Adrian-X1 No patience for me. It's been too long. Nintendo had so much much time to prepare it / release it
As long as they call it the Switch 2, I think it’s immediately clear it’s gonna be a successor, as long they make it clear it’s an upgrade like from PS4 to PS5.
When I tell my casual gaming friends that, it clicks immediately.
I think the focus needs to be on how good the launch games are
I dont think 2-2.5 months is completely impossible, as long as they go GTA V levels of promo - which they definitely have the cash to do.
RGT is skeptical the switch 2 will ever come out
I don't think it even matters when they do.
If they wait till January to make an announcement they could have a successful fall launch.
I just don't care anymore.
I’m more inclined to believe we’ll see the announcement in Feb-March with a release in the second half of 25.
Nintendo prime is as credible as msndc saying Biden is fit as a fiddle

Just love the remark of no disrespect to homehome and the other guy, but didnt mention Nintendo Prime. Is the disrespect meant for him, lol.
Winds of Winter will release before the switch 2
Still on March reveal, holiday release
Me when talking about Nintendo switch news: I don't need to research to see if something is true. I just look at RGT
Generally speaking, enough of Nintendo and dragging out the production of their next console, I bought a Portal and will start enjoying my P.S. 5 library and unless the new console spits gold coins every time it is powered up, I will no longer be in any rush to purchase one.
Idk but it better be soon or im gonna fold and just get a steamdeck
Nintendo SWITCH 2 needs 4 speakers like my Tab Samsung galaxy!!!
