I just think that Pernida is already a monster without the transformation, do you think he was defeated easily? I personally found it forced. @@fabiosegundosoares377 I don't think he was defeated easily. He probably would have won had he not felt the need to evolve and eat nemu. Unlike the arrancar fight where the espada just so happened to be hit by the drugs that just so happened to be inside nemus body for some reason, her being a 7th version of his creation and having the cell amplifier in her body makes sense here. Mayuri won because he gave Pernida a hyper aggressive form of cancer. I suppose you could argue that Pernida could have reformed himself after he exploded since he did after nemu blew him to smithereens, but the ending felt good to me.
I think Peridna vol stern dich doesn't do much for him in general since he's not mobile like a typical sternitter so physical stats of the vol stern dich is pointless and he techinally possesses a superior ability since he's Yuha father

Absolutely insane episode. My only gripe is not seeing Pernida's Vol Stern Dich. We know he has one because he has a halo and wings.
