Shut off a/c on defrost mode on 02 rsx

You need AC and hot air to mix to speed up the defrost because the AC mixing with the heat create DRY AIR which defrost faster

john prathammavong woah dude. If your car was only blowing cold air when set to hot, something else is wrong. If the temperature is set all the way on the warm side, then the air SHOULD be hot whether the AC is on or not.

Intimidate Society my Ford Focus and isuzu rodeo both defrost the best with the A/C on and my grandmother had a crv it wasn’t lazy with the air conditioning

Pinero, what chabges after you do this? Did you have cool air coming out when in defrost mode and the hot was selected? Or did you compressor kicked on when in defrost mode and on the hot setting? I am confused as to what it fixes, or what it does. I have a DC5 but I dont see how it would help me. Thank you. Seeing your video kind of makes me want to try it but I am not sure why.
