All the reminders of your grandpa…. So touching. He’s with you always!! ❤ I miss my dad every day, but I have some of his favorite hats and t-shirts, and when I’m extra sad I wear them. It’s the little things like that that make him still feel close.
Love all your little mementos that mean so much to you 🥹📚 You had me tearing up with all the ones that remind you of your grandpa. Feel the love of those in my soul 🫶🏻
Okay, the bookshelves are full of beautiful books and some really great reads, but can we talk about how someone needs to write a love story based on you and your husband! All his sweet gifts and talented would make the book girlies swoooooon!! Lol 💕📚 y’all are so sweet!
Every video I look at the bookshelves behind you and secretly hope for a tour; look at you making dreams come true! Love all stories behind the shelf decorations as well.
Ok I am adding so many books to my TBR!! I love that you have your shelves in rainbow colors!! Oh my gosh that vintage pencil sharpener though!!! Nostalgia at its core!! I’m glad you are passionate about helping kids get interested in reading. My parents read all the time. I asked them why when I was in 5th grade. The books we read in school were BORING! Or they made me cry (Old Yeller broke my heart). Then, the summer between 5th and 6th grade my mom was reading Watch the Wall My Darling by Jane Aiken Hodge. Mom said it took place in England. That made me curious since I was (still am) a fan of The Beatles and loved everything English. That book did it for me. An American young lady moved to England to, hopefully, live with her Grandfather after both her parents died in America. He lived in a castle. There were smugglers and French spies out on the moors. Not to mention the wild winter weather. I was hooked! We just have to find the right book to open our imaginations and set our hearts on fire.
You have so many amazing books on your shelf! I read The Screwtape Letters recently and it hit me hard. I'm glad I read it. You also reminded me that I want to Pumpkinheads and Ghost Roast. I'll probably read them soon since I'm in a graphic novel mood. You have so may of my favorite cozy mystery series and many that I've never read. Some of my all time favorites that you have on your shelf are Christie Bookshop by Ann Claire, Seaside Cafe by Bree Baker, Noodle Shop by Vivien Chien, True Confections by Sarah Fox (also love Pancake House by Sarah Fox), Bookmobile Cat by Laurie Cass, and Beacon Bakeshop by Darci Hannah. 📚💚
If you haven't read With the Fire on High yet (I think that's what you said?), I'd highly recommend it. It's YA but doesn't read super young. The writing is great.
I love the fact that you organized your shelves by having them color-coded. I've never seen anyone else do that before it's so unique & so fun! Well done! 🫶🏻❤✨ I have another personally fun question for you. If you had the chance to pick any romance book to read during a cold, rainy day, which one would it be? & why? 📚

It’s also now in the description box for anyone else that is interested. 😁
@@theteacherstbr Thank you! 😁❤️
You seem fun I’m subscribing to you! I love to make videos too! 🎉
Oh, thank you so much! 🥹
Of course you have a book called Teach Like a Pirate 😂
🤣 I’m a simple creature
Also, I’m obsessed with the titanic . Sooo,, what was “the deep” author??
Alma Katsu!
Would you say sheets is appropriate for age 9? I saw that at the library and wasn’t sure if I should get it for asdison
It definitely handles some deeper topics, like grief and depression, especially Delicates. I would just be aware of that. 😊

Oh, thank you! ☺️ That’s a tough one, my mind instantly went to When in Rome by Sarah Adams. Sweet, wholesome, and cozy. 💛
