It's a gift to listen to you! I just bought all the books myself. As a child I always played until the age of 13. After that I made one more tour with the orchestra of the Free University of Brussels but had to quit because of circumstances. Now I'm about to seriously take up the thread again and I also want to rebuild my technique.
Keep your left thumb loose, and make sure that it doesn't get behind the rest of your hand as you shift. The Whistler books are great for position work.
My friend and I will be doing a duet performance for a concert soon and it will be this piece (me on the piano and him on the violin) and we're very excited! Thanks a lot for this video, it helped me get a feel of what the piece sounds like! :)
He plays it like it is so peaceful, when i play it, it sounds like it came from a horror movie.
I'm sure it sounds great!
same with me especially when it’s either double stops or the string crossings 💀
Amazing! I’m so relieved I will have a good quality version of this to listen to when I practice! Thank you!

No
Don't know what to say. Its very nice! 🙏
Thanks!
amazing!
Thanks!
how do you do triplet springing arpeggios as seen at 1:45?
It is easier to practice them first on just open strings (and slowly!) so that you can get used to the motion and controlling it.
I listen to this during practice
Is there a copy up to speed?
What do you mean? This is at tempo.
@@bclement85 ooop I must have listened to one that was too fast my bad, good job tho, its really good
Any specific tips for shifting?

bclement85 got it, thank you!
very helpful!
@@bclement85 ok, thanks!
I recommend doing the shift over and over again and try sounding the notes first so you know what your going for or aiming for.

Tyyyy
Npppp
that was awesome! do you have tips for the up bow stacatto, my bow is constantly bouncing
Slow practice at first! Try using your pointer finger for a little bit of pressure and release. Do that slowly and speed up.
i have less than two weeks how i am gonna do it
Lots of practice! Good luck!
3:37 how do I play this better, mine sounds like killing a chicken
😂
@@ppiiaannoo😂🐔🎻
Just started this piece....it's a KFC chicken slaughterhouse over here😆
SAME HELP
For some reason your E string sounds off...does anyone else realize?
Any tips for the upbow staccato?
Keep your right arm loose! You will need to pronate your arm for some punch at the beginning of each up bows.
Thank you!
What is it about Seitz first movements and fake section endings?
They were constructed as student concertos for learning, so they are quite artificial in that way. You learn a lot of different techniques.
8909898898989999999 percent love it
Thanks!
you mean 100%

I love your version of this 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️ do you have any tips for the up bow staccato or the slurs in measure 88-90?
Thanks! For both, it's about staying loose and not pressing. If your right arm is stiff, the sound will not produce.
I just started lol
Good!
