Best forward structure we have had in years. Just look at how we were able to isolate our forwards and hit targets in so much space. Great signs
What happens when we move the ball quick, it will probably mean we will get smashed by a good team but it's better long term
there's so much to like about the way we played this game omg. ball movement was just so clean, as a result we didn't have to bomb it inside 50 and hope for the best.
Their ball movement was amazing. Jai Newcombe is a gem of a find. Not just Jai, but all our youth in fact! Josh Ward and Connor McDonald look like 10+ plus players. Don't even get me started on CJ.... Cyril 2.0 with his speed and cat-like skills.
You then throw Will Day back in the coming weeks and this side has quite a future. I am not expecting them to make finals or push deep, but at least we are blooding the youth. The wins will take care of themselves.
Great performance from the Hawks, it was great to see #AlwaysHawthorn
Backline was absolutely exceptional, if we start getting on top in the midfield everyone else better look out.

Been waiting a long one for this, knew it would be a lot considering our set shots were solid and lots of goals were kicked, great game from the boys!
Not a clue what the rules are here I'm from the UK but I can't deny this is so good to watch. Proper man's sport this is. Great cross between ruggers and footy (at least to my simple ass that doesn't know any better lol). I'll definitely be watching some more of this though, just as soon as I've learned the rules so I can appreciate what's going on a lot more then it'll be even more interesting to watch I love it!
