Back in 2015, my father bought a 4th generation Honda City (because he trusts Honda). I've been driving his car since 2019 and I've liked it a lot (the i-VTEC engine) and I'm thoroughly impressed by it.
In 2023, we wanted to buy a new car, so we test-drove the 5th gen City and were impressed with it too. But we ended up buying a VW Virtus with the 1.0 engine (since we also have a 2010 VW Polo 1.2 Petrol engine). When my father drove the Virtus, he instantly forgot about the City and decided to buy it. Now we're selling this car to buy the 1.5 Virtus GT topline model. Even though he still likes his City and has driven it the most, he himself says, "nothing can be compared to the German Engine and Engineering."
ADAS at this price point and that too in manual variant is a game changing feature in indian car industry by Honda, Hope people here will understand ADAS importance in accident mitigation and in saving lives.

Bought V CVT 5th Gen in September. Have nothing but great things to share about this car. My first car… a true head turner.
ADAS works beautifully. Adaptive cruise is blessing on the highway.
Killer boot space. Honda city is known for its seat comfort and I am amazed of how comfortable it is for long drives.
21KMPL on highways. In city traffic mileage is 9-12KMPL. So much leg room in second row. The interior is beautiful and elegant. The whole car feels super luxury and premium. A fun to ride as well.
Paddle shifters give a sexy feel as well 🔥🔥

Bought this car last month, its really amazing. I drove 1.0 slavia and virtus, verna 1.5NA. City is far better than these 3. Yes turbo 1.5 are better than city in terms of initial pickup but if your budget is 13-14 lakhs go for this beauty

City is an excellent product but the advantage of that extra ground clearance of Virtus/Slavia makes the difference.
ppl looking for that extra ground clearance in a sedan is the most hilarious thing I see on internet... u ppl just don't understand cars... do u.. I'm driving City 5th gen from 3 years.. driven from villages to mountains... no problem at all.. plus grip and ride quality is dam superior

I have taken test drive of city -V and virtus highline... Though virtus is 1 lac expensive than city -V, no doubt Honda has reliable engine but performance and confidence you get in virtus is still worth... I booked virtus highline... And delivery is due soon 😎😎

Was considering base models of City & slavia, slavia feels better built & city has more features + reliability. But none of them have 6 airbags as standard hence bought a nexon pure. Quite happy with a suv but would still love to buy a sedan in future 😊

SUV sirf human ego ki vajeh se bikti hai kyu ki veh badi dikhti hai... u know most selling cars like Thar has the worst comfort but ppl still buying it andha dhund just cus it makes u look like a gangster
and who love to drive a car should not even consider an SUV... a sedan is a fun to drive machine.. with amazing dynamics like low GC... handling, grip, steering feedback.. ride quality... much lesser body roll etc. aur ye turn lete waqt palat ti nhi hai.. 🤣

Sedans and SUV both have their own benefits. Jiski jaisi requirement hai vo vaisi gaadi kharidta hai.Some like more stability and low ground clearance, some like more power & high ground clearance. It totally depends on one's choice.
