The word bamba (silly person, also a type of music and dance) is an onomatopoeic voice similar to bemba and wobble. It is an expressive creation formed with two roots. The first imitates the babbling of children and is associated with *baba-. POPULAR SONG FROM THE STATE OF VERACRUZ MEXICO
