Who is here in 2023. This song is ageless. Nigerians need to come here and heal. The elections won't break us, both individually and as a nation. We are one.
Excuse me but mj is a legend too! I can't say the same for beyonce. I looked for this and found it by accident! Because I love and adore lions 🦁. The true kings! I will be one of the few Latin Americans loving african music! 🎧🎤🎹🎶🎵🎼
@@kenjilucian6013 this woman in the late 90s and early 2000s was killing it in West Africa even before she moved to the United States. Those of us who grew up on the coasts of West Africa knew of her 22 years ago and already had legendary status
As a child I loved this song, as an adult I still do but now I know what it truly means. We may have different skin colors and speak in different languages but all of us are flesh and blood and are all connected as one species. Such a truly powerful song and message.
We need to tune out the hate and violence of this world, accept each other for who we are, and understand we' re all different. We all live on earth, we are all human, and in the end we are one!!!!
Even after so many years this song still gives me butterflies and goosebumps, I choke up on tears because I think of all the hate that is in our world. There is so much hate because of the color of your skin or your race. I think it's wrong and no one should even care about what race you are. Your color doesn't define who you are. I wish people now in days would go back to their childhood and watch The Lion King again, because we are one. "We are one people but we live as if divided." Were all humans. We are human. Who cares if you're white or dark skinned, what matters is how you view yourself and what matters in your life. I really wish people would stop caring about skin color or thinking that everyone is racist, but I fear that racism won't ever end and that is quite sad. Knowing that not the whole world is like that I'd what's comforting, but there will always be that dark side of the world. You can't have good without the evil. It seems quite unfair.
I have loved mam Angelique since I was a child. My dad said I looked like her back then🤔.. I wanted to be a great musician like her too😉. Great piece. Still so much love from Ghana. 😀 🇬🇭
She has understood long time ago that English is the international language and the best way to express your ideas through the world...love to you mama...
To everyone reading this, God richly bless you and you will have a fruitful, blessed, impactful and Spirit-led week, in Jesus mighty name, I decree and declare with faith and thanksgiving, Amen. You are a generational blessing and everyone who encounters you becomes one as well, in Jesus mighty name, I decree and declare with faith and thanksgiving, Amen
I find it so amazing that a person like Angelique can bring so much love to the world's table and everyone can feel it, and yet , so many others try and fail. I can only say personally that her love and joy is epidemic and it makes me want to shower in it's happiness and sunshine.

@@theamazingandtalentedblake8296 I saw her on the "Tamron" show (abc 7 new york) and I was so impressed with her and everything about her. Uplifting, intelligent, and beautiful inside and out. Her music encompasses so many styles, I love listening to her speak as well as sing. I hope young people pay more attention to her and her whole take on life. Ps. Art fun!
