- Today I cut my WJ front bumper to gain more ground clearance and a better approach angle. this was a super simple modification and took at most 15 minutes with minimal tools!

Mines cut the same way by the wheels. However , I cut it almost straight across, because I don't have the stock radiator support anymore. I built my own by basically making a box that bolts up right where factory tow hooks do. ( I believe trailforge makes a nice high clearance support too) Gained about 2 1/2 in of clearance from that. I agree with you , looks a 💯 better trimed up. I thought for a long time about getting some heavy duty bumpers , but decided to keep the agressive stock trim look . Plus it saves a lot of weight on a already somewhat heavy jeep already. Looking good bro 👍🏿
Yeah I plan on eventually building one and also a bumper for this when the time comes. That probably looks really good cut across like you said.
Definitely a way better look. Anxious to see what you do with your fog light setup.
Trying to figure out where I want to mount light pods it may wait until I build the bumper
Thinking about doing this
My only question is where do you relocate the fog lights to?
I got rid of them.
Does look much better
How do u like those tires?
I love them, can’t beat the price and they lasted a while on my JKU with daily driving and wheeling.
I agree, looks better. Now what to do with those pesky fog lights. Thumb up.
I’m planning on installing light pods on the bumper when we build it and using the factory fog light harness to power them so I won’t need a new switch inside the Jeep
What part are Maryland are you from? I'm close to Frederick and Hagerstown.
Eastern shore
What axles are under there?
They’re stock for now
@@ROCKY_TV wow have you roaded it with those 37s? How did it do?
It did okay about as good as you can expect with stock gears and 37s definitely slow but it was alright.
We just don't that on my sons wj .
