I found them about 4 years ago on a dillinger escape plan fan group. Since then they have been my fav band. And a bunch of great humble guys as well. really love them. Just sad it took me so long to find them. But rather late than never! go check out their discography. you are in for a treat! greetings from South Africa
Have you checked it out with the (english) subtitles on ? Might I suggest also listening to Palingenesis and Lifnej. Ilja has his own project with Pinhead, there he sings in english.
Amazing song 🤘🏽 I'm so excited for the new album! The Hirsch Effekt = never boring. Also really great that you stick to German vocals, which makes your amazing music even more special to me ❤️ See you on the tour in fall!
I don't know why im surprised if you improve the level in every song and album, mr @iljajohnlappin you're a great songwriter, all of you 3 are incredible. Congratulations! I take off my hat with you!!🎉🎉
Why do you care? I think their choices whether Ilja or Nils is vocalist for a song (or a part of a song) has always been good. And there are a lot of Ilja parts on older albums, too.
@@AlfW yeah i totally get you. I also always liked the diversity between the two. I only really started to realise Iljas presence from Espakist on. It's just that I have a really soft spot for Nils cleans and would have loved to hear them in some of the parts of this 9 Minute song - like i said, its still great, just a preference of mine :D
@@Jonianer I have a sweet spot for both. Kollaps (the song) or Acharej would sound totally different with Nils. In Torka, I even mistook Ilja for Nils because his voice was so similar to Nils starting from "Allein...".
@@AlfW Thats totally fair man :D one thing we can be sure about is that the band will make interesting music going foreward and there is a lot to like for many different people :D
Well we only know 3 songs so far, but yeah Ilja has definitely become more present. I'm not worried about missing out on Nils' vocals on the whole album though. Either way, both are amazing.
Maybe I just got used to it ...but I know they say their music is hard to listen to.. It still is, but more and more and sometimes entirely in a good way. That's what "polished" means to me when describing this piece compared to their older works.
Is "polished" a compliment for an ultra technical creative punk extreme metal band? It probably isn't, but "polished" is the only word that cames to mind when listening to this. Oh yes, also "safe", "secure".
Daumen hoch, auch wenn ich die Produktion nicht schön finde. Klingt n bissel dünn,wenn der raum die ganze zeit so unendlich groß ist im gesangsbereich. Überproduziert?
I'm so glad Tidal recomended this group, this is a masterpiece.
Under goddamn rated. I'm loving this band.

In this song I hear sound Porcupine Tree
I get Tool influences.
