A valuable lesson to learn, Nigel. Nor must be forgotten the few doctors who spoke out against the medical experiment and risked their career and reputation, but having faith that they will be vindicated in the end. It can't have been an easy route to take.
Maybe he's trying to say this. I don't know.. "Historically, the skull and crossbones symbol was used by pirate ships to inform the targets they're about to attack. Today, it is a globally popular symbol. Besides being used as a fashion template, it also symbolises any form of resistance against authorities. "

Something I learned was that because of the way English is grammatically constructed, meaning we have different words to connect past, present and future, i.e. 'waited', 'waiting' and 'will wait', we therefore are less able to connect our present actions with future situations. However, other languages can be built in a way that reinforces the connection between the present and the future, which makes, for example, Chinese people, better at saving money and preparing for the future. I don't speak Chinese, so I haven't verified that for myself. Interesting though
I made it perfectly clear to my other half that if we needed to sell the house to keep him safe then that is what we would do. Luckily it didn't come to that and he managed to work around and do a lot of side stepping. As I said to him, never volunteer information.

I gave up the pub, football and gigs for 2 years whilst investing in myself and my partner rather than giving in to the short term gain of the cattle prod to get into pubs, football and concerts. Paid off in the end.

Who should invest in infrastructure? Infrastructure which requires a pay-back of up to 100 years? Infrastructure good for the many and the future generations? The capitalist model in its pure form - doesn’t cover this case. Hence, a good small government - and reformed political system therefor - is intrinsically needed to handle such cases too. Intelligent balance. Not t’one not t’other - but a balance of navigation subject to timing, etc. Intelligent balance like prescribed in the Bible when navigating your life’s path.

👍Great object lesson to illustrate the profit in just a bit of self denial. It only would've taken a little effort to learn the danger posed by the unproven snake bite contrasted with the potential benefit of pumping up the immune system by letting things run their natural course while practicing a bit of health building behavior like exercise and good food. I learned it back in 3rd grade. But the course of least resistance was in vogue and it was so easy to forfeit the moral responsibility to learn the truth. Definitely a generation ripe for the strong delusion to come. "Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:" 2 Thess.2:9-11

Yes, this is why those who went to the concerts must repent, and do so genuinely, i.e. admit that they were wrong to comply with evil in order to keep their creature comforts.
