This was a tough one for me. I find RSM to just be much better looking and nicer in general. The plus for me with MV was it was close to the 5 freeway. When I started working from home, RSM was my destination! Much better condos in RSM as well if you live alone like me.
You make great points. MV is an easier commute to the freeway but is also an older community. As the city has aged, many areas have loosened building regulations so you'll see some strange additions in MV. And the condo situation is definitely better in RSM.
