I am a Respiratory Therapist (11 years) and trying to break into medical sales industry and I always get asked if I have any sales experience and I feel like it always holds my application back. I have tons of hospital experience and strong relationship but can't seem to land a gig. Any suggestions, did you had to try multiple times? How long was it before you landed your first job?
6 months it took me in the heart of Covid to get hired. But yes you have to reach out to a lot of companies. You're not going to land your first several opportunities most likely
