This video is reviewing the new 2019 Sole F63. At Treadmillreviews.com, we give the F63 5 stars compared to other treadmills in this price range. We’re in favor of the simple user interface and the heavy weight-capacity.
The Sole F63 has a 3.0 chp (DC) motor, 12 mph max speed, and 0-15% incline range. The deck is cushioned slightly and has the ability to fold and store. This is a good feature for shoppers concerned with saving space. At this price range, the Sole F63 has an impressive user weight capacity of 325 lbs.
Features and accessories on the Sole F63 are incredibly basic. The console holds a 6.5” LCD screen that gives you access to 10 onboard workouts. This is a very familiar set up that most shoppers are familiar with. This makes for a very short learning curve. We feel confident that just about anyone can hop on this treadmill and figure out how to use it. The console also has built-in speakers that are Bluetooth capable. There is a tablet holder at the top of the console along with a USB plug for charging devices. The built-in fans on the console are basically useless, which is disappointing. Both sides of the console have a large water bottle holder and there is an additional accessory tray beneath the console.
The Sole F63 is a great option for the runner who doesn’t want a lot of bells and whistles on their treadmill. It has a simple user interface, common to what we’ve seen over the last decade, making the Sole F63 a easy treadmill to navigate. This treadmill is inexpensive but very reliable.
Would be great if in your reviews you guys showed treadmills in real usage process without music. To see, hear how it works when someone runs on it, what's the sound, is it too loud or not, creaks etc... Thank you.
Just bought one. Absolutely love it. 👍 You noted the simplicity of the screen. That is exactly why I bought it. I just leave it in the manual mode and watch something on my iPad. This works for me.
Just ordered, hope it last. Just want a simple focused treadmill without all the tech.
Hey Mark I was wondering is this treadmill okay for some running also maybe like 4 to 5 miles an hour. I walk and Run combination. Wondering if I should step up to the 80 model what's your perspective thank you
Is there a way to adjust the volume on the speakers?
As a previous Peloton and Nordic Trac owner, I have to say that this one is really good. I’ve had my Sole 63 for over 2 years now and it does a great job. Super comfortable and the price is great. Not overly expensive.
I have the Peloton Bike + but didn’t wanna splurge 4K for the treadmill. I’m interested in this one for the iPad placement to use with the
All-Access membership. Would you suggest this?
How loud is it when you're running on it? Would you be able to hear a tv at a reasonable volume and someone else in the house can still concentrate on whatever they're doing?
Hanley Brady Hi Hanley. It is very quiet. I use my iPad to watch the news, movies, etc. through the built in speakers. Never have to put it up to full volume. Mark
You missed a very important aspect of the treadmill and that is Bluetooth connectivity, otherwise a good review. Bluetooth works great!
How loud are the speakers?

Is it worth paying up for the F-80? If you're an average sized person, what kind of difference does the 3.5 motor of the F-80 make? Thank you for your reviews...
not much, the 63 is far quick enough at 12mph
Is this a good treadmill to use daily between 3 different people on the heavier side for both running/walking?
I forgot, I have another question. I will be running three miles a day at a 5.5-6.0. Can I do that on this treadmill? Thank you.
If it's only you using the machine you should be fine to do that. If there were another user also on this machine we would recommend finding a machine with a larger motor. If it's just you, you should be just fine.

@@BestTreadmillReviews I contacted SOLE about purchasing the treadmill. A lady on the phone said it would be $999, not including tax, delivery, setup, etc... Plus, I asked about if they do veteran's discounts. She said yes, a 10% discount for veterans. If I click the link below, will I still get as what I stated above? "I have my V.A. card to show I'm a veteran."

Same! Got one last week but it was broken (a bolt on the main frame had sheared off during transit.) thankfully they replaced the entire treadmill. Setting it up tonight.

Mainly the console got updated with a new, cleaner look. Sole also added the tablet holder and bluetooth to this machine. Other than that, the main specs are the same.
Can you pause your workout and not lose the progress?
I don't want to lose progress if I step away for 1 minute.
Edit: I looked it up. you can pause for up to 5 minutes by pressing the stop button.
is the tablet holder removable?
Yes, there are 4 screws that hold it on the back that you will be able to simply remove.

@@thatslife2918 hey it's a great treadmill but it's a lot bigger than I expected, it takes up a tonne of room. It was easy enough to assemble but it takes two people to put together.
Is this ok for a 240 lb man who wants to run 5-6 miles per day...or do I need a beefier model?
What speed are you going to be running at? If it's just you using it, you'll probably be just fine, but if you have multiple users it would be good to have a stronger motor for longevity sake of the machine.

@@churchhymnsandpsalms If you want to stick with Sole then definitely check out the Sole F80, that will be plenty of motor for the both of you and should last you a long time. If you want to look at different brands, the NordicTrack 1750, ProForm Pro 2000/5000, or the Horizon 7.4/7.8 AT Treadmills are all comparable to the Sole F80. But really, you can't go wrong with getting a Sole, really solid machines.

When folded will it fit through a doorway?
My Sole F-63 got delivered about 10 days ago and I have it all assembled. Two questions 1. The display is supposed to turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity - it doesn't. Tried the Start+Stop+Enter button simultaneously. Go to the display mode. After turning off or on the display mode - nothing happens. How does one activate the 30 minute sleep mode? Question 2: How can I decrease (or adjust) the display light intensity?
For me the manual said (Stop+display+enter) buttons for 5 sec and then the display setting came up and I could use the speed keys to toggle off “showroom mode”

Would I be able to use this for running 30-45 mins daily? Or should I upgrade to f65?
If you're the only one using it then yes but if there is going to be another regular user then we recommend upgrading to the F65. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Are there wheels on this so you can move it out of the way when done?
Yes, there are 4 wheels so you can just fold it up and move it when you're done or you can lean it back on just two wheels and move it that way. Super simple and easy to move.
What size mat in under this treadmill?
How's the cushioning for the joint. Is it similar to the f80?
Yes it's exactly like the F80. Not quite as much cushioning as a NordicTrack or ProForm treadmill but still plenty for a treadmill. The F63 has been a super reliable machine for us!
@@BestTreadmillReviews Do you know which specific models of Nordic Track or ProForm (or other treadmill brands) that have the best cushioning for people with bad joints? Or is the F63 sufficient?
@@jenmclo91 The treadmills we recommend with the best cushioning are NordicTrack's incline trainers, the X14i or X22i. Those are the best cushioned machines we have personally tested. The NordicTrack Commercial series or the ProForm Pro series both also have decent cushioning. Sole's treadmill have okay cushioning but they are a little bit stiffer than NordicTrack or ProForm. If you look at the NordicTrack T Series or the new EXP treadmills, those will be about the same as the F63, cushioning wise. Please let us know what other questions you have.

I was hoping to avoid Nordic Track or ProForm to avoid paying those monthly fees for the membership (I use the Peloton app) and if the treadmill has their own screen I won't be using it. So that's one of the reasons why I liked Sole. Just need to find one with good cushioning that isn't Nordic or ProForm.
@@jenmclo91 Totally understand. You don't have to pay for the monthly subscription on a NordicTrack or ProForm, you can just select a manual workout when you start your machine and not pay for the monthly subscription. Sole is great, you might also want to also look at the Horizon 7.4 or 7.8 AT treadmills. Those will actually pair with your tablet so you can still use the Peloton App. We haven't spent as much time on the Horizon machines but they are worth checking out. Sole is a safe bet though, they are really solid machines.
I’ve read that this is good for walking for those who prefer to walk (high cardio low impact)
No. I had one for running and it was fine.
I love my F63. I just wish it had better speakers. Even with my device turned all the way up, using the audio jack input on the treadmill, the sound volume is too low.

My research showed the F63 to be the best bang for the buck. That’s why I bought it. And, I absolutely love it.
I live directly above a restaurant that's rarely open anymore due to the coronavirus. There are no other apartments. Just mine. I live by myself. Would this treadmill be good for where I live at? When the restaurant is open, below me, could I run on this treadmill and not disturb anyone below? Thank you?

I heard from other reviewers that the motor is quite, but the deck makes some noise when you run on it.

Does anyone know where to buy it at a good price? I’ve been looking for two days and the cheapest was $1000. I saw people saying they got it for $500 at a promotion. I want it pay $500, too! 😫
That was very rare and only a few stores had it at that price so YMMV. I've seen that due to the pandemic, there is a huge shortage of treadmills now so don't expect prices to go below 1K anytime soon. At max, might be 900$ during black friday.
I think the $999 price is a steal for this treadmill. It is loaded with features for that price.
Cheap ass... lol jk it says on the sole page the original price used to be $1700 so $999 is a bargain. I just ordered mine today, the only down side is the 30 day wait time...

Is this model ok for 2 people, one who is a walker and one who walks and runs? Previous question got an answer about being ok If only one person uses it.
We would say yes, depending on how much you are running on it, but most likely you will be great.
Best Treadmill Reviews running would be no more than 30-40 mins at a time. Speed would be below 6.5 mph

Are you able to see over the front of your rather watch TV vs using a tablet. It looks high like it might block your view.

You push the tablet holder down and you will be able to see perfectly.

I had mine assembled. I found the tablet holder interfered with my TV line of sight (I'm 5'10"). Since I'll never use it, unscrew four screws and it's gone. Easy.
This is hands down the best treadmill you can get overall especially for the price! I have this one and it’s been my favorite one by far!
Does this have the interval option, like walk 2 mins, run 4 mins- or something similar?

How to get it out of display mode
is the treadmill 37'' wide to include the width in the front or is it 37'' wide track in the back to include the sides in the back, It looks like the front might be wider or am I wrong . thanks for the review

Do you do reviews on Horizon Treadmills? How does the 7.0 AT compare to The F63 Sole?
I'm a random customer and from what I have seen and heard from others, the Sole is a little more durable and has better customer service, while the Horizon has better cushioning for running and has a few extra modes for exercise.

How's the cushioning on this?
I hear from other reviewers that its not as cushiony as the higher models like the F80, but the cuhsion is apparently above average for your joints.
Garbage review. Product hype. No reason she couldn't at least walk on it to hear sound , which matters alot.
placing speed adjustment buttons on the handle bar is so unsafe and ruins the whole treadmill.
Trying to get treadmill for the family during the lockdown.. 4 users mostly walking incline about 30-60 mins a day. Would that be to much for the 3.0 motor?

Hi I was wondering is this treadmill okay for light running? I do a combination of walking and running at 4- 5 per hour wondering if I should step up to the next model which is the 80? Thank you for any perspective
Do you think the F63 would be sufficient for my level of running? I do around 4-5 x per week at constant 8.5-9mph for ~30 minutes, with some powerwalking/walking on 1-2 off days. No need to change speed quickly or use any built in programs. Only I will use it and I'm under 180 lbs. I don't need many features or tech just a very reliable motor with sturdy frame. I'm real good at taking care of my things so I'll do whatever maintenance is needed for its upkeep too. I know the F65 or even F80 would be for sure better but those are simply outside my budget at this time. Thanks in advance for any advice!
Edit: I also want to add that while most of my run is in the 8.5-9 range as I stated above, I do on occasion like to push it to 10-11 mph but for no more than 2-3 minutes at most.
This treadmill would be a good fit for you i believe. Lifetime warranty on the motor and other parts so they must have faith in the quality of their parts. Just ordered one last week *the F63* and can't wait for it to arrive. Consumer Reports also gave it a good review.
