This is the first board I’ve ever owned and the first season I’ve tried snowboarding. I don’t know all the specifics and I’m not sure if it would’ve been easier learning on something more symmetrical and evenly distributed. I’m still learning after all but I had a ton of fun despite falling a lot.
Maybe the NS Proto Freeride, YES PYL, YES Standard Uninc, Niche Story and possibly the Lib Tech Ejack Knife if you are ok with pretty much full camber. You should also go to thegoodride.com/snowboard-reviews/?mens=1 and use the sort/filter tools on the right to find similar Freeride and All Mountain boards that grip really well in icy snow.
You look good riding that board! Wicked turns🎉
Many thanks!

Thanks for your take. Yeah that isn't an easy board to learn on but good to hear it worked for you.
This board could really end up holding you back. I'd get something else.
For the ‘22 model you reviewed… is the topsheet one of their “topless” topsheets that chip super easy? Or one of their standard plastic ones?
Thanks!
Not sure. It didn't feel like many of the 2021 models I tried though. Top sheet felt like a normal top sheet and not something "topless".
Which board is similar but excellent on hard icy snow?
