- In the past few weeks Disciple has really lived out Romans 8:28. In this video Kevin talks about some of the events that have unfolded and how the band has been reminded that ALL things work together for the GOOD of those that love God.

The fact that Disciple tells stories like this and proudly proclaims the Gospel, unlike most Christian bands these days, makes me have a great amount of respect for these guys. Keep rocking for Jesus.
I have been a Disciple fan since the Back Again album. If it wasn't for Disciple I might not be a Christian today. Thank you for continuing to do God's work and thank you for your inspirational music.

Thank you Kevin! You are truly anointed to preach, My Brother. I praise God for your walk with Him and your willingness to follow Him where He leads. The lyrics you write are truly inspired as they are the Word of God. The music is wholly powerful. It so makes me rejoice with dancing, sing along praising my holy Father at the top of my lungs, and SMILE as the Holy Spirit embraces my heart and soul with His tender love!
I am ready to suit up for battle as well as extend an open hand of love as your music encourages and strengthens me with the Word of God!
That's a great testimony. I know exactly what you're talking about. I've had similar experiences, myself. God always has a plan for our lives daily. Everything that we encounter in our daily lives is planned out by God to work out in ways that we usually never see coming, but they always turn out in a glorious way!
God is amazing. He made Disciple amazing, and I don't think you guys realize how much your ministry reaches people. We all appreciate it. At least I do.

There are many bands that I love, but like zach said above,stuff like this is what sets you guys apart from most Christian bands. I have ton of respect for your ministry

I really felt when he started talking about how Adam sinned and you know and God asked Adam "Where are you?" This was a VERY inspirational video, defiantly very good for me to hear Kevin's and God's words today.

is the same Lord that made miracles "back then"). I listened, and logically I knew I needed to hear that today, but it still didn't permeate my heart. After church, I went and got my paycheck after missing picking it up Friday, but before I drove home, I (for reasons I know now) felt pulled into a local Christian book store. I saw the music section and headed straight to it.

That is something that I think we all struggle with at times....the understanding of how God can take the seemingly bad things that occur in our lives and work a greater purpose than we have the capacity to understand....Our vision of circumstances are very short sited at best....GOD IS TRULY THE GREAT ORCHESTRATOR....and takes the bad notes of life and turns it into a beautiful symphony. Thank you Kevin for sharing this....I needed this as I'm sure many others do as well. GOD IS GOOD.

I heard you speak for the first time today. I subscribe to your channel. I BELIEVE. Always have. I believe the saying for eternity will be "Hind sight is always 20/20" We will always "look back" to the year 2020 and all the signs leading up to Jesus 2nd coming. Just as we look back now with 20/20 and see how God works all things in our lives and for His good. God is with us always Brothers.

Looking through they had your guys' Horseshoes & Handgrenades album. (I remember loving a song I saw you sing live before, "Dear X...") so I got it. After I got home, I checked my facebook and this (ironically) popped up on the first few feeds on my page. I guess my long-winded point is to thank you for sharing this verse and story, because it just helped me see the answer my heart has been seeking from God for a while now.
I still remember when this all happened. The event that they rescheduled was in black hawk, SD. Still an amazing testament.

This is crazy...
I've been having a really, really bad couple of weeks as of late and have felt so distant and lost away from God, not hearing Him, things feeling pretty down and pointless. Truthfully, trying not to want to go back to the old me who used to hurt myself to get over things. I've been distant and dazed in church, and almost didn't go today. I wouldn't have, only I had to give my friend her key back. (Today's message was about faith, what it is, and do we truly believe that the Lord

:') yes! Perfectly stated! My dad has had stage 3 appendix/colon cancer and that was a life changing experience for all of us. I tell myself this verse daily now because of it. My dad beat cancer and remained cancer free for over a year! :D But, now, he has been re-diagnosed with cancer.. The biopsy on his tumor is on what would be his 364th cancer-free day... Coincidence? I think not! God has a reason for everything! ;) please do pray tho!

I know I'm not close to God at all but I don't know how to get closer. It seems like He has abandoned me and it seems like He has taken everything that was keeping me from drowning away. It seems like the only thing that helps is cutting.
I ask you, do you believe the Bible? And if you do, you must know that Satan has been tormenting God's beloved creation since it's been here on Earth. The Cutting that you do, that seems to help. It doesn't. When idolaters worshipped Baal, they would invoke him by stabbing their arms with lancets, and cutting themselves. (1 Kings 18:29) It was inspired by Satan, for the purpose of tormenting not only God's children, but God himself by extension. Every time you cut yourself, what you are doing is precisely what Satan wants. You are hurting both yourself and God for an empty feeling that passes away. I know it feels desperate, but the only way to be closer to God, is Jesus. And the only way to really know Jesus, is the Bible. Study the word, Learn about Jesus, and give your heart to him. God can take away this burden, I promise you he can and he will. Matthew 11: 29-30 "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

I have agreed with everything he has said but there is one thing is misled on if we clearly read acts 2:38 Paul himself told the people how to be saved you said you must repent be baptized in Jesus name be filled with the Holy Ghost is pretty simple that is the Gospel message forgiveness accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior it's just the first step to it

+george kline batisem washes away your sin it is remission of sin it is a sign that you're buried with Christ baptism is necessary for salvation that's what Paul tought it is burying the old man throughout Romans Paul told them that they must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ not Father Son and Holy Ghost because the Father the Son and Holy Ghost is Jesus ask you 38 does not contradict Matthew 28:19 you got to know who the Father the Son and the Holy Ghost is and that is Jesus Christ
+george kline It would be a good idea to do it since the Bible says we should be. BUT, not being physically baptized in water isn't something that I think God would say would keep you out of heaven. The Bible says that, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" Romans 10:9. Its faith in what the blood of Christ did that washes away your sins, not water baptism. Is it something you should do though? Yes. The man on one of the crosses next to Jesus died without being water baptized and yet Jesus told him, "today you will be with me in Paradise" Luke 23:43. Water baptism is an outward show of the inward change that happens when faith is put in Jesus as your Lord, you believe that God raised Him from the dead, and that through the shedding of His blood you can be saved.
+george kline No, You are not going to hell if you do not get baptized. :) Baptism is what God urges us to do when we accept his son as savior. Baptism is the outward sign saying "I accepted Jesus Christ as Savior. Because I know that I am a sinner and I need God and I am showing that to the world now"

(Acts 2:38 and John 3:5) you do need to get baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. You should definitely find a church body. Believing Isanti amazing start, but there truly is more.
In the Bible, God gave Peter the keys to the kingdom and he was to tell the whole world how the keys work and what the keys actually work. In Acts 2:38 "Peter said unto them : Repent, and be baptized, everyone of you in the Name of Jesus Christ, for the Remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" that is the keys to Heaven! You must repent, be baptized, and receive the Holy Ghost! Sure you can accept Jesus as your personal Savior and believe in Him, but you won't make it
