Hello bro, great video that fix a lot of questions but I still have one, if I have wireless headset that connects with USB type C dongle to the PS5, can I just plug this dongle to my Laptop so I can hear the PS5 audio through the OBS and also record my voice through the headset and record the game audio in the same time through the HDMI from the Elgato ( or any other capture card ) ? P.S I am not playing games that needs party chat, mostly playing solo campaing games, so i just need to record my voice to the stream or videos. Will be truly appreciate if you can answer if this will work that way.

I’m trying to capture ps5 Audio while also being able to hear it in headphones and used my headset mic to talk to people watching. So far I got the audio captured from ps5 to capture card but I can’t find a way to use a headset to hear also and interact with watchers. I tried a Bluetooth headset to Mac and that allowed me to use the microphone of the headset but no this isn’t in ears and wearing a headset with no sound is horrible. If I plug a 3.5mm headset into controller the capture to computer goes away(stupid ps5), if I plug headset into MacBook I don’t get anything

You'll want to not use chat link cable if you're trying to listen to discord. Listen to all your audio from the computer so you can hear and record game audio and discord

So question since your using the wave 3 are you using the software for the elgato wave 3 and also do you plug in your headset into the computer to be able to hear everything like music with Spotify that you have on the elgato software?
I use the wave software for all my audio splitting since that's something special that comes specifically with owning that mic. And my headphones are plugged into the microphone itself, so I have that set as my default/system audio output device to hear everything coming from my computer.
You can use one mic if you use remote play to chat from computer. But directly from console I recommend two mics for a smooth setup, use a cheaper usb mic connected to console to chat with folks and chat audio can be heard over hdmi from the computer (this is the setup I typically run).

Are the audio levels coming through at all? Like is it picked up in your recordings? On the PS5 make sure nothing is plugged into controller audio jack and no headphones connected to PS5 console either wired or Bluetooth.
Hi there, I've ran into an issue that I hope you can help me with. Whenever I record gameplay footage, it comes out looking choppy. Is there a solution to this? The laptop I use is an Acer Nitro 5 & the capture card I use is an HD60 S+ & I record through the 4K Capture Utility software

Honestly I have a pretty decent laptop i5 8th gen 1 tb of ssd and 8 gigs ram I brought it down to the 720 and same issue as you, the solution is more ram or a gaming pc I wanna see if I can upgrade my ram on laptop

Hey can I do this without chat link pro. Like I am a streamer I have a PS5 a Laptop and a Monitor and now after saving a lot and budgeting the Elgato HD60X. So I am looking to stream and record single player games from my PS5 to my UA-cam Channel. So how does that work. I bought the capture card because I have my Blue Yeti mic connected to my laptop which is set up using NVIDIA BROADCAST and in OBS mic stuff to make it sound better. So can iI connect my Mic and headphones to my Laptop and stream off my PS5 with the elagto HD60x. I have never used a capture card before so am kind of lost. Thank you. I dont need a party chat as I am playing single player - party chat is like for team chat if I am not mistaken right and I dont use discord? I just want to stream at high quality and chat live to my viewers? Thank you

For games like warzone, if your party isn’t on discord would you recommend running two mics ?

What quality recordings are you trying to record in? Try tuning it down to 1080 or 720 at 30fps

You must do an hdmi audio out to the go xlr. Using chat link cable is not an option as your setup would not be running right.
