I did a run like this recently as well! My final team was Dewgong, Marrowak, Kingler, Venomoth, Flareon and Electrode. Honestly one of my favourite runs I've done
The underappreciated Pokemon of Kanto really deserve a shoutout! It's WAY more fun to play like this instead of the usual Gyarados, Nidoking, Lapras, etc
I will never understand how such accomplished and well known nuzlockers make such terrible tier list when it comes to nuzlocking, I mean Beedrill might the worst pokemon to use in FrLg. Now that my rant is done just wanted to tell you to keep up the good vids man:)
Appreciate you Goodish!! TBH I was pretty surprised with some of the rankings... Tangela was in the top 50% and Cloyster was not! I believe his reason for Beedrill was that it is a consistent answer against Misty (but so is the guaranteed Gyarados)
Seconded. Wigglytuff is a stupidly effective wall if FRLG, and it doubles as a backup sweeper thanks to being able to learn both Defense Curl and Rollout.

Oh no! Brock is a pretty tough road block, but I can't believe the Vine Whip strats failed!
Flamethrower is stronger than bite because of stab even when bite is super-effective
That's true! Flamethrower is 90 x 1.5 STAB = 135 while Bite is 60 x 2 = 120.
