so true theyre so inspiring and theyre so passionate in the game and want to make it as true to life and realistic as possible and i commend them hugely for that.
@@camel8599 agree soooo much. I wish more game developers were this passionate about their games, it makes me so thankful for the team for doing this for us.
I love whenever we get new maps, even though it's a very rare thing to hope for. I'm one of the geology nerds that watches, so this was quite the treat for me to see when I had to leave school early because I got sick.
The devs have been so nice about showcasing, hyping the players, and building an overall wonderful community, that I don't care that much if it comes out sooner or later.
I’d love to take my pups over that bridge. It’s such a nice model, and even with my crusty computer I already know it’s gonna look astounding. I’m really excited for the Hellroaring map, it looks so amazing so far
As someone who lives in an geological area comprised mostly of granite, I very much appreciate the level of detail you are executing on Hellroaring Mountain. 😃
guys do you remember the old wolfquest and the first wolfquest games? Its almost 17years ago! (Wolfquest ametyst mountain and deluxe edition, its crazy)
@@krisztianbarna1102 ok but do yall remember that black figure human 😭😭It was around 2013 and after I believe, people were so invested in making theories and "evidences", some were even scared to play after finding out. Looking at the screenshots now as a 20 yo it's just so funny to me but honestly I miss those times hahah
I started playing WolfQuest after watching Ranboo and Charlie Slimecicle play it, and wow, I'm already so in love. I appreciate this community and especially the dev team so much. The dedication is truly admirable. The best gaming community I've ever been in. I've finally taken up a proper interest in wolves thanks to this game. Thank you for all you do, it's insane to think this game will be 20 years old in only three years.
Honestly seeing Ranboo and Charlie play wolfquest was incredibly cathartic as a long tume player since I was 8 lmao, it was honestly sort of a fever dream since wolfquest really was not something i thought theyed ever play
I used to play WolfQuest all the time before Anniversary Edition was out, but over the years I had abandoned it in favor of dinosaur games on PS. Seeing Charlie, Ranboo, and Sneeg play it brought me so much nostalgia and I immediately went to buy Anniversary and have been playing it a lot since. There's been so much progress that makes me proud of the passionate devs and this is such a lovely community. It's safe to say that stream has reignited my love for WolfQuest :D (i've rewatched the stream VOD about 6 times so far, and i do not regret it)
its so cool to see people getting into WolfQuest THROUGH Sneeg, Charlie, and Ranboo! it was literally mindblowing to see them play a game I'd played since childhood, and now people are getting into the game because of them!!
This is beautiful! I can't go to actual Yellowstone, so I'm excited to explore more of it in game. Props for recreating it as closely as you're able to!
I am absolutely astounded at the level of effort and detail that goes into this game. It is truly heartwarming to see how passionate you guys are about WolfQuest. Thank you!
Wolf Quest literally won the lottery with the devs being so engaged into the whole making of the game. I don't want to compare but with all the frustrations with The Isle / DoD it's good to just lay back and watch one of the recent WolfQuest devblogs to see what's new
It looks amazing so far! The effort, work, research, and love behind this game is very apparent! I've played Wolf Quest since 2008 when I was little, and the love I have for this game just keeps growing with every update. I can't thank the Wolf Quest Team enough for keeping the game alive and thriving. Though the wait for updates is long, it is always worth it. You guys are amazing!
I’ve been following the development of this game since 2016 and it’s absolutely mind boggling how much progress has been made. I haven’t played the newer game yet, I don’t have a computer to run it, but once I do I’m going to invest so much time into it. Yall always put a crazy amount of attention to detail and care into these maps, it's so cool to see the way they slowly take shape. Thank you so much to all the WQ Devs and contributors, yall are so cool!
Watching my favorite games get better and better, I am very happy and happy! You can see the efforts made by the production personnel and expect the game to become better and better! Come on! We will continue to support and follow you all the time!😊❤
I absolutely love these updates showing both the thought process and actual process that goes into making these maps. It's great to see progress of course, but seeing the level of detail and care that goes into what most players will probably overlook is a fascinating experience
This looks amazing!!! I have no idea what you’re talking about not being as good as RDR! This looks absolutely beautiful! You guys are doing a fantastic job with the realism, educational impact, and enjoyability of the game so please don’t sell yourselves short or put yourselves down over budget and technology limits and what have you. So excited to keep playing and keep supporting this great work! Thanks so much for the updates!

As someone who’s been playing for… over a decade im so so happy and proud of how far this has come! This was one of my first ever computer games when I was ten years old(11.5 years ago now). I played so long that my fingers locked up and my eyes were RED.
I follow every update and video you put out. What you're doing is incredible, beautiful!❤❤ I look forward to the new year, to getting a good computer and being able to play wolf quest I had already purchased the game on Steam beforehand before buying the computer :D
everytime wolfquest drops a new video i stop everything im doing and watch the video, sister dying? she can wait, house is on fire? it cann wait. dad is going to jail? HE CAN WAIT.
Oh you should totally add a den around at the peak of the mountain! Or close to it! And maybe more than just one! It’s probably not terribly realistic and would be a bad idea to have close to the edge, but I bet people would kill to be able to raise pups so high above and the entire map below them. I certainly would! The view certainly would be worth it alone and climbing huge rocks and claiming it as your home is allways fun
Wolves actually prefer a specific set of factors for den locations (they are within a distinct elevation range and on hills that face south to get lots of sunshine!) All of the dens in WQ so far follow these general rules, so the only way one would be closer to the top of a mountain is if it fits within those constraints (being a smaller mountain hill for example).
@@otterbellsI see. It’d still be cool as a randezvous site for older pups with changing needs, and nothing some large grasses can't solve for a nomadic lifestyle, and offers a good vantage point overall. Realism be damned for a moment, *it would be insanely cool.* Let my wolf commit poor life choices damnit. Untill you can stimulate the windchill atop the mountain the coolness will only draw me closer, because damn if it does not sound fun.
I love this so much! The detail... the amount of work being put into an outstanding game is amazing! I've been playing wolf quest since it came out..❤love you guys in excited to see this map😊

i love so much how you guys worry about the people with non gaming computers or laptops {as an individual with 20 - 10 fps} i also would love to see you guys add natural disasters like fire or floods or maybe even mudslides!
That is definitely one very rocky mountain. Yet it's neat to see trees growing between the granite here and there. I bet this might be a good place for bighorn sheep?
Those gneiss crack overlays look really good! I think gaming is generally past the point of "super realistic graphics = good game", several AAA games have proven that gameplay is key while shortcuts in graphics increase performance while still looking very appealing. Looking forward to exploring it in game!
Just wondering if down the road once all the maps are done if you could connect them all. Like how slough creek map and Amethyst Mountain map are sort of connected.
Very cool! Thank you for all of this and the devblogs. I love feeling up to date haha. Excited for the map. Will it be closer in size to the other yellowstone maps, or LR DLC?
I have an new idea what the game makes more realistic... Maybe we could still suckle our puppies until they are 2 months old, but then we would have to take in additional water and the drinking function would have a more significant use and it make it more realistic
