I never watched a single episode of Wings. Oddly enough, I never watched Monk until earlier this afternoon. I also had just learned of David Schramm's passing moments ago, and pulled up this clip---what a big, happy, teddy bear of a man. BIG HUGS, Mr. Schramm---at least you got to do in life what made you happy, and brought joy to others you touched as well. Rest in peace, sweet man.
Classic. No one writes like this anymore. I miss the wings cast, Its almost like theyre distant family or friends you want to revisit from time to time. Thanks for posting.
@@Falconer22 Funny you say that as I also feel there is something special about this show. As the yrs have passed I have slowly put the cast of great past shows behind and havent thought much about them as one would expect even of a nostalgic person , cheers which was a close second and is good example of this, but this group was magic together and there is still something very familiar about them whenever I catch another episode or highlight reel from time to time. Actually over the last 25 yrs Ive rewatched most of the entire seasons 3 or so times, and will prob do so it again sometime in the not so distant future. Cheers to a time gone by and to healthy nostalgia that reminds us of a world that is seemingly now gone.. take care Falconer..
Classic, super underrated sitcom. Antonio (Tony S.) was not cast in the show. He did such a great job with his cameo as an Italian waiter that the show's creators wrote his character into the show. This twist of fate launched a great career. Tony S. has done very well post "Wings."
That's the thing that black actors complain about - these little breaks are what they don't get - these go on one's resume - for eg the friends show - the ditsy girl was esp lucky - both her "brother" and her "dad" got some good breaks & went on to have successful careers, she herself played a ditsy waitress on another show - the one with Helen Hunt - and i think that got her the Friends show
johnny llooddte Yeah but it still doesn’t get talked about like other sitcoms of that time. All you ever hear about is Friends, Cheers & Seinfeld. I thought Wings was just as good if not better than all those shows.
@@coolcat6303 ...... Well it was certainly better than Seinfeld and a hell of a lot better than Friends, which I think sucked. My personal favorite comedies are 1) Cheers 2) Night Court 3) M*A*S*H 4) Wings 5) Becker 6) Trial & Error 7) Newsradio
OMGOSH!!!!!! I had forgotten. I was not able to watch in Prime Time (didn’t have a television); however, loved it in syndication. It was, and still is, wonderful, thoughtful entertainment. A classic.
Love Wings. The cast was excellent. This episode is one of my favourites... Tony Shaloub was a great addition to the cast. Highly underrated show and actors.
@@georgfriedrichhandel4390 From Family Guy. In an episode where the gang broke into Pawtucket Brewery, Quagmire said that we need another Tim Daly. And Quagmire went into a rant about how great Wings was. Keep in mind, Quagmire is a pilot on the show.
That's what I loved about wings, the subplot was as good as the main plot in the episode, in this episode, I loved Roy and Antonio's plot more than Casey's plot
That was funny and is right up there with Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton teaching themselves to play golf, i.e. - addressing the ball with "Hello ball". Wings, Becker and Just Shoot Me are the three all time best sitcoms.
Love this! I know the guys-dancing-with-guys things can be trite, but this was great. There was also a great one in that Burt Reynolds sitcom...what was it?...Evening Shade??? Yes! I wonder if they have that one on UA-cam...Thanks for this comp.
I just saw "The Merry Wives of Windsor" in Washington DC and David Schramm (Roy) was the main character. He's just as chubby as he was on Wings, but more white hair.
Fucking hilarious! This show is one of the greats, soooo underated! I can't get enough of it, all 8 seasons on Hulu, and the 20+ones that are missing, I get them on u tube. From a fan from Henderson, Nv. ..J. Gallardo.
Even though this show had like 8 seasons, it's still very underrated
These two guys dancing is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in my 50 years. What a great show it was!
They looked like they had a lot of fun filming those dance scenes :D.
So funny and so great.
Godspeed Roy. Thanks for the laughs.
This was such a wonderful show. Such great actors, and fantastic writing. I haven't seem anything quite like it since.
Love the way Tony does accents-he's such a great actor and INCREDIBLY CUTE!
Rest In Peace David Schramm.
He was awesome
That guy was a theater actor and he played the role to perfection.

Nelson, I feel the same way. This is the only show I have ever felt this way about.

Antonio, still the best thing on the show

Such a great show. RIP David. You were hilarious.
Loved this episode and David was always so much fun to watch. Such a great cast of characters.

The show was perfect when Antonio was brought on as a regular character, and lost a little of its panache when Lowell went into witness protection.

BETTER THAN FRIENDS all day long 🇺🇸🤷🏼♀️
Me too, love wings I'm thankful I bought all the seasons
friends borrowed a lot of ideas from wings, those dance scenes for example
If you watch them both you could see that Friends stole storylines from Wings

I wonder how many takes they had to do of this scene! It’s hilarious and I can’t imagine them getting through it without laughing hysterically 😅

This was really cute. Just pure funny, happy. Great show.
Magnificent performance 👏 👌.
Rest in Peace to both David Schramm and John Ritter who was in this great episode, two comedic geniuses imho 🙏
Roy was AWESOME!!
Love Wings. The cast was excellent. This episode is one of my favourites... Tony Shaloub was a great addition to the cast. Highly underrated show and actors.
Tony Shalhoub is so good at physical comedy!
He really is
David Schramm (Roy Biggins) died today at the age of 73. May he rest in peace
Magic
it never got old even though they used it a lot in the episode. just so funny.
02:40 🤣🤣 Watching Shalhoub is always enormous fun.
For those of us who worked in the airline business in the 90s, this was our show!!!
Tell that to Quagmire.
@@cityhawk I'm sorry but what's Quagmire?

I luv in monk when tim daly guest on the show. Sharona tells monk its tim daly from wings. And monks deadpan look says, Never heard of it. Hilarious
Tony is SOOOO CUTE!!! ❤❤❤
I LOVE YOU, Adrien MONK🖤
I WATCH YOU EVERY RERUN
This is my favorite episode, too! Hysterical! LOVE IT!
One of the funniest things I have ever seen on TV. When I heard that David had passed, I had to find this.
what a great episode that was! tony and david are just brilliant in this!
Love this show. One of my all-time faves.
Watched Wings again and again😂😂
R.I.P. Roy
RIP David Schramm
Love Antonio and Roy!!! They got the moves like Jagger. :)
Tragically the guy who played Roy (David Schramm) died today at the age of 73

- You take that back!
- Make me…
Tony Shalhoub can really dance. He has such beautiful moves.
Like a cat. I wish he could teach me to dance like that.
I wish i actually know him.
WIPE!
Me too
Would love to see the bloopers for this!!
Love this show!!!!!!!
Two of my favorite characters on the show. Fay and Lowell round out the quartet. I love Wings!
I think Tim and Steven were excellent as the Hackett brothers and Crystal and Tim were a believable romantic couple. Great acting all-around.
What a great show. I was very young when it came out but I was able to catch reruns.
Love this episode with highly missed, beloved John Ritter, but this dance is AMAZING. Thanks for sharing. Told hubby we are learning this dance.
More "Wings" please!
All the seasons are on Paramount Plus
He will always be Monk to me
Rest easy Roy Biggins
"I have a wonderful teacher"...hysterical!:)
Roy, I love your moves
this show was freakin' hilarious
Monk!
That show was friggin HILARIOUS! Lowell was my favorite! Roy not far behind.
he is a gorgeous human being...i want that screen shot at the end...:O
Rest in peace David schramm roy
Wings had a great supporting cast. Faye, Roy, Antonio, Lowell. All top-notch actors. It would have been nice if Roy and Faye had gotten more air time.
Damn, the two of them must’ve had a LOT of fun doing this scene - dunno how I could do it without laughing and spoiling every take.
Schramm and Shaloub were brilliant
That was funny and is right up there with Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton teaching themselves to play golf, i.e. - addressing the ball with "Hello ball". Wings, Becker and Just Shoot Me are the three all time best sitcoms.
Wings and Becker has a connection in Dave Hackel. He worked both shows.
Oh my god, Monk! 😂
Someone needs to load the scene (diff episode) where Roy & Antonio were both drunk & chasing each other thru the terminal.
Genialni.
This was right up there with "Some Like it Hot"🤣

Monk 😁
mu number one guy dancing with my number two guy.. what a great show that was
Remember when Roy was hypnotized and danced to “Buttons and Bows”? That was a great scene.
Gods, the crew must've been dying behind the camera!
Never seen Monk in this way....and the lady in the desk is seems to me like a mormon elders....wau
I'm back!! xD 2020 Go Tony :D
ALL 8 seasons on HULU
ahahahaaha now thats DANCINGGGGGGGGGGGGG

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Mr. Monk😂
RIP Roy. He stole the whole show imo
i see where friends got the idea
Very Funny Love Wings! Joan Bates
Now THAT was funny!
And then Friends borrowed the idea and had Joey dance with his landlord!
The creators of friends stole alot from wings, Rachel's, Monica and rest of the main cast have the same stories
"I said, Come here." Bwahhahahaha

Watching this on mute is almost funnier xD

Aww 😏 Don't feel sad, I don't know how either, it's just not my way, I wasn't meant for it
that sucks didnt know roy died
The one character that I disliked was Casey. I wasn’t that crazy about Bud, either…hard to replace Lowell.
Tony shalouhb is not gay on this show is he?
No he is not gay
No, he's "European. ". Such men are not bothered,by gender if it comes to pleasing the lay- dees
So Roy is completely fine with offering touchy dance lessons to another man, but has huge problems with his son's sexual identity. mmmkay
You do know there is a difference between teaching a man to dance so he can pick up women and having sex with that man right
i actually got here from family guy.........quagmire loves this show :P
