Dolores Claiborne (1995) - 'Eclipse' scene

Eclipses are such surreal and yet brief events, that they're perfect for use in stories. Stephen King used one to great effect in his novel, and composer Danny Elfman helped transmit some of the other-worldly feeling of those few moments.
Starring Kathy Bates, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Judy Parfitt, Christopher Plummer, David Strathairn, John C. Reilly and Bob Gunton. Screenplay by Tony Gilroy, based on the short but excellent novel by Stephen King. Directed by Taylor Hackford, with an original score by Danny Elfman.
