When I was really young, I would always compare this scene to Harry and Marv being attacked by birds. Especially when you think of Marv screaming in a shrill voice. The only thing is is that Harry and Marv deserved to be attacked. But the people in this scene are innocent
Imagine all this time never understanding ever not fighting anyway at all except literally like hell, literally never smart enough except to never understand the present and thinking we’d forever think that means they’re tightwads about some understanding?
Suzanne Pleshette was much more beautiful. She should have played the love interest. She was naturally gorgeous. Blondes are always seen as more beautiful because they bleach their hair blonde. But Hitchcock was very into snooty blondes.....Grace Kelly, Tippi Hedren.....ever see photos of Marilyn Monroe before she was a blonde? Pretty, but average. Suzanne Pleshette was a better actress and stunning. I love this film, it's well done, but it always annoyed me that Suzanne Pleshette was supposed to be some homely school teacher and Hedren was running around in the green suit with a dangling cigarette and was supposed to be all that.
What? My family has plenty of blondes and none bleach their hair. If anything it's dark haired people constantly bleaching their hair. I think you have a personal anecdotal issue with a blonde and it's making you hate all blondes.
@@stevenleroux7033This movie was filmed in 1963. Hitchcock combined several techniques to create the attack effects, including real birds, green screen and puppets. That was an extraordinary achievement. He was a pioneer in green screen, and 3D cameras. Today any idiot can do it with some software. Apart from the birds, the cinematography, sound editing, montage and other aspects are perfect. This is a big reference for many other directors to come, like Spielberg. Its easy to criticize the movie today.
I would grab the cake while I was running into the house 😂

The mom was 31 here they put prosthetics to make her look older
@@eden20111 oh really
No, Jessica Tandy, who played his mother was 54 and Tippi Hedren was 30.
Where’s a baseball bat?! I’m about to act like I’m in the Geonosis Arena!
I understood that reference
Birds don't like cake and they despise balloons. Noted.
i love it! 😂
Irony, I hate birds, but love this movie. In fact, it’s my favorite of all of Hitchcock’s works.
When someone plays a flying creature in MTG

Man I don't like that Annie got screwed over in this movie. She lost her man then lost her life
