Like this rendition will stick with you for a long time, such potent is the sonority of each note.
In new generation, only Rashid Khan and Venkatesh Kumar are on there way to true greatness.
You missed the great Pandit Jasraj
You also missed Vinayak bua patwardhan, Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Mallikarjun Mansur, Basavaraj Rajguru, Kumar gandharv, Kishori Amonkar Prabhat Atre & so many.

Yehi bandishpt. Bhimsen Joshi aur Vidushi Laxmishankarji ne Marathi film Pativrata mein jugalbandi ke roop mein gayi thi aur usme Pandit Bhimsenji jeete the.
Wonderful ! As a matter of fact, Panditji first sang this bandish as a playback song in Bengali film ‘Tansen ‘ in 1958

Ita traditional bandish sings in this gharana.. Like ustad abdul karim khan etc.

Was it an EP (extended play - approx. 7 min each side) record originally ?
Later on recordings of 3 such EP records was combined to publish an LP (Long Play - approx. 20 min each side) record.
