Talking to my kids about heaven - especially when they try to parse it in terms of their experience of time and space - I kind-of trick them by saying, "heaven is _right here(/now)_ when we love one another." They seem satisfied with this in terms of the logic (that if everyone on the planet loved one another, then _this_ world would be a veritable paradise), and in the way it stretches their understanding of 'loving' in the direction of a verb (something we _do_ ) rather than a sentiment.
For my part, as a grown-up, I still conceive of heaven as 'through/within/under/behind' our commonly-perceived reality ('common' in the sense of 'collective' as well the sense of 'typical' or 'usual'), which remains consistent with what I teach the kids.
For what it's worth, I'd also claim that love (i.e. self-'noughting' for the sake of 'other-being' - a coherent model of trinitarian identity, as manifested definitively in the mystery of the cross) is both a kind of access to heaven and a foretaste of it ("did not our hearts burn within us") as it will be (technically already _is_ !) eschatologically.

I think matter (from dirt to our brains) and even thoughts are an equation of vibrations and densities. Think of the visible spectrum of light and apply that to everything we experience with all of our senses.

1. If it is an alternate dimension, why did divinely inspired authors use the term for the sky? Seems a bit dishonest to use a term that would be misunderstood for centuries.
2. How is this possible to not be literally above the earth when the bible uses the word for heaven and places it above the earth. Jesus ascended into heaven (acts 1), Heavens are his throne, earth his foot stool (Is 66) or the literal naming of the upper waters as heaven in Genesis 1 by God.

Maybe the writer at the time don't grasp the idea "alternate dimension"
Heaven means "above". The ancients had no concept of outer space so that's what they had to go on until we learned about the wider cosmos
@@samueldani-gr6ge Is this an adequate defense of a divinely inspired book? If divine revelation from an omniscient, all caring God is authoring the book why couldn't the author be given better language and understanding?

Yeshua spoke of this, and so did John in Revalations. Heaven will be destroyed. New Jerusalem(our price) will come down. It’s 1500miles L by 1500miles W. It’s the mountain carved without hands. It’s our city. The whole world will see it come down and make itself manifest. Does anyone still read scripture these days?? SMH

Genesis 1 is Lucifer and the fallen angels making man in their image. Man is an idol, a trap for angels. (tares)
Genesis 1 only uses the word ELOHIM.
Genesis 2:7 the Lord God forms His representative in THEIR system. (wheat)
Genesis 2:4 is where the word Lord God (YHWH ELOHIM) is found.
Exodus 20:4 YHWH ELOHIM forbids idols and likeness (embodiment = human host body).
Jesus called you a god/angel.
John 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
What law?
Psalm 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods (H430); and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
Strongs H430 Elohim = angels, gods (little g).
Right there, he called you a god (angel) that shall die like man, and fall. A fallen angel.
Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
No mention of unrepentant man in Matthew 25:41.

Heaven doesn't exist, just like the upside down world doesn't exist.
Actually it's not Heaven that's upside down, but the place where the fallen angels reside until judgement day. Hence these songs and music videos like dancing on the ceiling, upside down, inside out- all pay homage to the dark lord Satan and other fallen angels they worship. The upside down Christmas tree hanging from the ceiling is another homage- there are too many to count. God is a Creator of order. It's the enemy who perverts and inverts everything.
Wanna see a fallen angel? Look in the mirror.
