Is there an indicator when the tanks need to be refilled? I can't seem to find this anywhere.
Hi Jen, at the moment this is not a feature in our Washtower models. So that this may one day be incorporated into our Washtowers, feel free to let us know here: spr.ly/6059P2HBf. We're constantly innovating and open to hearing ideas from customers. ^Chris
Hi
Is ezdespense automatically set for first use…or do I need to set it in the settings!
Hi! Once you've filled the compartments in the dispenser drawer, the ezDispense feature will automatically work for most of your wash cycles. Please note, the ezDispense functions gets turns off for the Hand/Wash/Wool and the tub clean cycles. To manually turn off the ezDispense feature, press the dispenser 1 and 2 buttons. ^Chris

Thanks for asking this, I was looking up the same thing
Good video.
How do I use liquid less detergent sheets such as Earth Breeze?
Can I just add it to the "Use Only HE Detergent" compartment?
Also, if I have already have detergent in the Liquid Detergent compartment for EZDispense, do I have to turn it off when I use the one time use compartment (Use Only HE Detergent)?
How do you turn off the notification saying you need to refill tanks when you don’t use them? I use pods for our wash and don’t use fabric softener
Hi there. Thank you for reaching out to us.
To turn off the refill notification for the detergent and fabric softener tanks when you are using laundry pods and not using fabric softener, you can follow these steps:
1. Press the "Detergent" button repeatedly until the display shows "OFF".
2. Press the "Softener" button repeatedly until the display shows "OFF".
3. This will disable the automatic detergent and softener dispensing, and turn off the refill notification lights.
When using laundry pods, you can simply add the pod directly to the drum of the washer, rather than using the automatic dispenser. And if you are not using fabric softener, turning off the softener dispenser will prevent the refill notification from appearing.
By disabling the automatic detergent and softener dispensing, you can use your preferred laundry products like pods without having to deal with the refill notifications.

Hello there! Great explanation! I'm a little confused with the dispensed amount though, what's the difference between "Detergent Dispense" (Minimal, Low, Normal, etc) and "Default Dispense" (1.5oz, 1.4oz, 1.3, and so on)? Does the default dispense amount correspond to the normal detergent dispense setting?
Hey there! The Detergent Dispenser, or as we like to call it, the "Normal Detergent Dispenser Setting," gives you the flexibility to tailor the amount of detergent for your unique laundry requirements. You have the freedom to increase or decrease the detergent dispensed compared to the Default Dispenser, also known as the "Default Dispense Amount Setting." This setting ensures that your washer automatically dispenses the standard amount of detergent when using the Easy Dispense feature, guaranteeing top-notch washing performance. It's all about customizing your laundry experience to achieve the best results! ~Nancy
Can you use HE liquid concentrate? There are people on forums saying you cannot use concentrate with the ezdispense. I've been using pods for years and just ordered the LG WKEX300HBA washtower and an waiting in it to be delivered. Since I've been using pods I've been away from liquid detergent for years. Thank you
Hi, there! Thank you for choosing LG for your laundry needs. The LG WKEX300HBA WashTower with ezDispense is designed to work with high-efficiency (HE) liquid detergent. The ezDispense feature automatically dispenses the right amount of detergent for up to 18 cycles, and it is recommended to use HE liquid detergent with this washer.
Therefore, you can use HE liquid concentrate with the ezDispense feature on the LG WKEX300HBA WashTower. Always ensure that the detergent used is compatible with the specific washer model to avoid any issues with the auto-dosing technology. -Cazz
@@LGUSASupport Thank you. One more question. I see that a lot of liquid detergents also say 2x concentrate. Would that be an issue? This is more confusing than I thought, trying to find an HE detergent that won't be harmful to the machine. Thank you again.
Hey there. That wouldn't be an issue! '2x' detergents are more concentrated, so you'd be able to use less to achieve the same wash you're used to. With that said, be sure to use only high efficiency (HE) detergent on your model Washtower. ^Chris
Can you use powdered detergent in the ez dispense or would I have to use the single use compartment?
Hey there! Great news - you can totally use powdered detergent in the EZ Dispense in the washer. Just a heads-up, it's best to avoid putting powder detergents, powdered bleach, gel detergents, or sheet-type detergents into the Easy Dispense compartments. But no worries, if you prefer powdered detergent, you can simply use the manual use compartment for that. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, don't hesitate to ask for more info. Happy washing! ^ Diego
Please show a more detailed nozzle clean function. Do you need to manually clean the tanks first, the add water to the tanks? If so, does the water remain in the tanks after the cleaning cycle is done? I can't find any video demonstrating this function.
Hey there. To safely and effectively clean your LG Washtower's EZDispense nozzle, start by turning off and unplugging the Washtower. Find the EZDispense nozzle near the detergent dispenser and gently remove it. Rinse the nozzle under warm water to clear out any detergent residue. For stubborn buildup, a soft brush or toothbrush might be necessary. Check the nozzle for damage or clogs; if you find a clog, consider replacing the nozzle. After cleaning, reinsert the nozzle, plug in and power on your Washtower, and run a test to make sure the detergent dispenses properly. This straightforward process ensures your Washtower works efficiently. If you have future questions, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport. We're always here to help! ~ Jupe
@@LGUSASupport This does not answer my questions. There's a nozzle cleaning function on my all in one washer/dryer WM6998. I do not have the tower.
Thank you for the clarification! To clean your front load EZDispense nozzle, we're first going to turn on the washer and then open the Easy Dispense tray located on top of the appliance. Next, remove the tanks and tray from the dispenser. Rinse the tanks and tray with water to eliminate any residue. If necessary, use a bottle brush to thoroughly clean the tanks and tray. After cleaning, fill both tanks with water. Select the Easy Dispense Nozzle Clean option on the control panel, and then press the Start button to initiate the nozzle cleaning cycle. The washing machine will complete the cycle and ensure that the nozzles are clean and dispensing is done correctly. Once the cycle is complete, you can refill the tanks with detergent or fabric softener. You should then have clean nozzles for your washer and dryer combo! If you have any future questions, please reach out to us on social media @LGUSSupport. ~ Jupe
If I want to use Out White Brite for a load of whites - do I mix in with my regular detergent before starting the washing machine?
When using Out White Brite in your LG Washer, we recommend following these general steps for the best results:
1. No Detergent First: Do not add your regular detergent initially. Out White Brite should be used on its own in the wash cycle to avoid chemical interactions that could reduce effectiveness.
2. Add to Water First: Start the washing machine and let it fill with water. Once there is some water in the drum, pour the recommended amount of Out White Brite into the water. Then, add your white clothes.
3. Run the Wash Cycle: Allow the machine to agitate for a few minutes, then pause and add your regular detergent if needed after this step. However, many users skip adding detergent altogether when using Out White Brite, as it can work effectively on its own.
4. Follow Up Rinse: After the wash, ensure a thorough rinse to remove any residue from the brightening agent.
This process helps avoid any interaction between the Out White Brite and the detergent that could lessen its brightening effect. Always check the label instructions of the product for safety precautions and proper usage.

@@LGUSASupport Thank you so much for the reply. My LG WashTower is front loading so I can't let it fill with water, open the door and add the White Brite. Just want to confirm tho regarding answer #1. The White Brite is powder form. Do I still add it to the main wash detergent compartment?
You're welcome! To avoid any further issues, it is highly recommended to use the dispenser drawer for adding detergent as putting it directly into the drum could potentially result in issues like too many suds, etc. `Liz
Which cycle. Deep fills?

Do you have to turn off ez dispense if you put bleach in the manual compartment? (If you add bleach will it automatically use both the bleach and the ez dispense regular detergent also? Or do you have to turn off ez dispense entirely and load both bleach and regular detergent into the manual compartment?) thank you!
Hi there. Please keep in mind that the dispenser drawer for your LG washer is split into different compartments: liquid chlorine bleach, fabric softener, pre-wash detergent, and a main wash detergent compartment that holds a removable liquid detergent cup. Liquid bleach should only be added to the fluid bleach compartment on your top load washer. If you have any other questions or concerns, please send us a private message through our Facebook or Twitter platforms for additional help. Thank you ^Anthony
