The way you used Beziers here is the same as using Freehand tool. Advantage of Beziers over Freehand tool is that you can make curves while you draw lines. A little bit of time saver if you're skilled with them. One more time saver, where you made the rabbit transparent, you could've just changed the color of beziers to any visible on black color.

Great tutorial. Very clear. Thanks. This will come in handy for sure. I often get requests for shirts but they only have low resolution JPEG files to start with.

You don't need to convert to curves as those tools are the curve tools anyway. Good tutorial on using the tool though a simple shape like that could have had the tracing applied and done in seconds.

Just click the right side mouse and chose outline trace then line art. If you cannot access line art change the image to bitmaps then chose outline trace then line art. That is all

why did you use the Bezier instead of the Freehand tool? Bezier allows you to work the curves as you go to avoid doing all the reshape work.

Wondering why not make the nodes smooth rather than cusp?

it may vary from situation, if he chooses to smooth it, it may change the curve

Do you use the b spline tool much ? I was wondering after using the bspline, is there a way to make the outlines solid. They always end up with double lines that are not visible at first. I'm using it to trace images for my plotter and it just seems to be a problem.

Adobe pen tool can do much faster and easy than corel's shaping tools.

Corel Draw never look good on their bezier tool or even pen tool, freehand. This are their downside. That is why i use illustrator in tracing using pen tool. I only use Corel draw in tiling large images, thats all. Anyways, great tutorial.
