Putting the picture on the glass was genius However storing it on the back of the picture for next year is one of the cleverest ideas I’ve heard in a long while
When we moved into our new house (log home in NH) the seller left 4-5 pairs of ice skates! I have them hung on a sled outside, others hanging on hooks, etc. So happy to have them!
Love how with simple nips & tucks a room can transform into something with warmth and personality. Love everything you did to your bedroom. I just love this time of year. 🎄🎄🎄🎄
Julie, I like the sewing machine stands beside your bed. I have two that have done various decor duties...end table, nightstand, telephone stand, complete with wall phone and stack of phone books, in dining room corner ( yes that shows my age lol 😊). They're now holding sewing machines. I remember when you made those pretty light globe ornaments, all the ornaments are perfect for that tree. It looks so real and love the blue spruce color. Great job with all your decorations!
You have suck a great imagination, I am obsessed with the ornaments that you made from the light shades last year and EVERYTHING you did today in this video, the box cover turned into a picture and tag was genius! ❤
I like the idea of simple. Little to put up and little to put down. I always love what u do. If I was younger, 75 now I would do more to my house. Thanks for sharing.
Love the skates!!! I Thrift old white skates at Good Will whenever I find them. Most of them are naturally grunged already so I use the ordinary laces they come with - tie them together and throw in a few sprigs of greenery. They are great Christmas decor!
I loved all the Christmas stems and berries. Love your night stands. Loved the crafts you showed. Especially how easy and simple it was to make it all festive and to take down. Love your grungy skates. It was all so beautiful.
Great! Bedroom is perfect. Love just adding a bit for easy take down. Two things in the LR that I would have altered -- I would have tied the small wreath along with your DIY tag onto the suitcase for more cohesion -- and I would have used horizonal green on top of cabinet to complement the already vertical large tree. Just some thoughts as we all love to play with these things.
I love everything you do, my style is very similar. I love to watch, but frankly the products you use are just too expensive for me. It’s frustrating, I don’t sell what I make, so to buy endless amounts of supplies is just cost prohibitive. Sorry, probably not a popular opinion, but an honest one.
I do agree with the thrifting side. It makes it more affordable. It’s just the paints, waxes, moulds ,stamps and transfers are very expensive . I love them and even have some, but spending 50+ on every project is out of the question for most.
I have have very little and also later very comfortable in different seasons of my life. Because I love to decorate and make many of my own items, and also thrift special less expensive items to redo to match my style. To afford my favorite IOD PRODUCTS, I ask for them for Christmas gifts and birthday gifts from my husband. Slowly over a few years I have started a very nice collection. Some people can’t even do that. I get it, I’ve been there. Just do the best you can with what you have.❤
Beautiful. I love your bedroom decor. This year I did not clear out my cabinets. I do not feel like people look at yhe insides and then putting all of that out and up😂😂😂 When we mobed here there was a paor of old shoe skates...hope I can do something neat..yours were wonderful. ❤❤❤❤😊
I do remember those piano rolls. I'm new to your channel and have been down for about a month. So I have been non stop watching your videos. WOW, I have a new whole way of looking at thrifting. Thanks for your inspiration.
I love the idea of making Christmas decorating easier. Everyone is so busy with life. Thank you for sharing this concept, I've been doing it for years.
I love that it is so simple and so beautiful at the same time. I feel the older I get the less energy I have to decorate every single area. I would love to see what you did in your kitchen.
*The piano 🎹 rolls in their boxes on your bedroom wall look fantastic and elegant...it is a great decorating idea, Julie❣️👌😉 Yes, little touches here and there make a HUGE DIFFERENCE without a lot of effort putting up or taking down. I also attach art to the outer glass on picture frames...been doing that for YEARS...but this is the FIRST TIME I have seen anybody else do it, hahaha❣️😆 Have you been peeking in my windows, 🪟 Julie⁉️ 🤣🤣🤣 Your neutral decor looks fabulous and the little candle rings used like wreaths tied on your china hutch made ALL the difference❣️😉🎍🤍🎄🤎💯*
When I run across a cool piece of art like the one you cut down, I scan & save the image first, then I still have the full artwork image to use another way, like printing it on tissue paper to decoupage on something! It is very cool the way you envisioned 2 creations out of the one salvaged image. 🎄 Merry Christmas 🎄
Your decorating techniques and style have inspired me so much! Simple, neutral colors and textures fill my Christmas home decor....not to mention the simple red ribbon bows. Easy to put up..easy to take down. I look forward to each of your videos.
Thanks for showing way to.minimize decor. I wish I watched this before I tried to put something inside picutre frame. I'm struggling with fitting tiny metal things back in. I'm sure I will step on one barefoot!
I love the piano rolls. They look so good. Your whole home is beautiful. I use dropcloth too. We built a sunroom addition and I needed floor to ceiling drapes for 8 windows. Dropcloths are amazing.
I got some ice skates from Brooke Johnson The Junk Parlor this year. Usually she is way too high for me but finding ice skates in Alabama is probably not a reality.
Putting the picture on the glass was genius However storing it on the back of the picture for next year is one of the cleverest ideas I’ve heard in a long while
The Christmas box - you truly turn "trash" to treasure!
Your the best with all the ideas you come up with
Such insperation
I like the simple bedroom makeover. Just enough. I would keep the rest of the box and add a bird transfer over the tape.
I love anything that you do, there is something about your accent 😜 that makes me think of my dad .i have been watching you for years ❤️
Love the skates! Can't believe how grungy they turned out.
I enjoyed this very much

Very clever, keeping the decorations in the bedroom, simple and easy. It looks fabulous.
I love that you did your bedroom. I like it alot. Love your living room and tree and cabinet.
Everything is beautiful....my favorite was the Giant Luggage Tag!! ☺
That last bit of picture leftover can be cut to make a pretty bookmark. I like the look of tree limbs against the sky. 😊

Love the skates, they look very natural
Those skates are perfect!!! I love the little touches. That is what I like to do also. Thank you for welcoming us into your home.

Loved the skates and the whole area you decorated for Christmas. Your house looks so nice all decorated up! Thanks for sharing!
Simplicity is beautiful!
Your living room hutch is gorgeous!
You could use the rest of the artwork as a base for layered hang tags. They have a great vintage color.
Love how with simple nips & tucks a room can transform into something with warmth and personality. Love everything you did to your bedroom. I just love this time of year. 🎄🎄🎄🎄

I have always wanted a pair of old ice skate s for my Christmas Decor. I would want a more brown antiquing wax on it rather than gray.
I like the skates a lot! And I loved the way you added the Christmas touches in your bedroom.
The quick br holiday is beautiful
Thanks for sharing your video ! ❤😊
Love your easy way of transforming decor for Christmas easily, great inspiration Julie!
Love the skates!!! I Thrift old white skates at Good Will whenever I find them. Most of them are naturally grunged already so I use the ordinary laces they come with - tie them together and throw in a few sprigs of greenery. They are great Christmas decor!
You could use the top of the tree for Halloween
Beautiful as always
Love 💕 your Christmas refresh, you have a cozy home , greetings from Massachusetts
I bought a pair of small ice skates at a thrift shop before Christmas this year. They need the grey grunge!
It looks beautiful!
I'm with you...less is more in so many ways.😂
I loved all the Christmas stems and berries. Love your night stands. Loved the crafts you showed. Especially how easy and simple it was to make it all festive and to take down. Love your grungy skates. It was all so beautiful.
Always the best inspo! Fave quick xmas decor - the two wreaths with ribbon side by side on the cabinet - made all the difference. Thanks Julie!
Loved it all

Perfect!
Ove, love the skates. I always pick up a pair of skates when I see them which is not often. I also use minis on my wreaths.
Thank you. I see skates all the time that look too new for my taste. I will get some gray grunge
Inspired to go and add antiquing wax to everything!!

I love that the majority of what she uses is thrifted which definately makes it cost effective.

Totally agree with Deborah Hamrine- I love her visits to Goodwill but this channel seems like an info commercial 😉

I love the skates but in southeast Texas, we don’t find ice skates in our thrift stores
Lovely content. Where did you get your powder blue canisters in your cabinet near your tree, please?
