It would have been better to give credit to the wonderful musicians who accompany her, by naming them, as she does during the concert. They are artists, too. Dianne is most definitely the reigning queen of contemporary jazz, but without the musicians, it would be a whole different, rather one-dimensional performance. She knows it, too - Just listen to all the praise and love she heaps on them, one by one ! It's wonderful. The opening song is Tango, her composition from her album Beautiful Life. Trumpeter Dominick Farinacci recorded an excellent version. A male skater in the 2016 Winter Olympics used it in his skate shortly after I heard Farinacci's version. But it was long enough after that I couldn't place it. It took me 2 or 3 weeks to track down the tune associated with that skate. Once I had it I was able to make the connection. It's a great tune to do quad jumps to.
