In “Searching for the Lotus-Born Master,” documentary film director Laurence Brahm beckons to ask: was the founder of Tibetan Buddhism also the father of quantum physics?
In 2018, a documentary expedition team followed the historic journey of the “Lotus-Born Master” (also known as Padmasambhava or Guru Rinpoche), who lived in the Himalayas during the Eighth Century. Shrouded in myth and mystery, the Lotus-Born Master, is recognized as the founder of Vajrayana or Tibetan Buddhism. In the documentary film, “Searching for Lotus-Born Master,” the expedition team sought to prove the legend to be true. The Lotus-Born Master had eight manifestations depicted in Thangkas, murals and statues across the Himalayas. The expedition team sought to decode the quantum energy field behind each manifestation.
The expedition followed the Lotus-Born Master’s historic journey covering over 20,000 kilometers under extreme conditions, scaling the snow mountains he crossed, finding the sacred lakes where he performed magic, exploring the caves where he engaged in tantric meditation.
Throughout the journey they conducted interviews seeking the wisdom of great lamas, the knowledge of dedicated scholars, and the science of technology innovators, in verifying the connection between Vajrayana Buddhism and quantum physics.
“Searching for the Lotus-Born Master” is directed by National Geographic explorer Laurence Brahm, who spent over a decade and half directing the award-winning “Searching for Shangri-la” expedition series. “Searching for the Lotus-Born Master,” is co-produced by William Lo and Laurence Brahm, with support from David Lee and Sherry Pan and the entire team at Shambhala Studio.

When I was a teenager I had an experience where my body felt like it was glowing white light from within I was so immense in it I never wanted it to end I felt beautiful and so happy I was sure that those around me would notice this glow I felt.. I've never experienced it again..but believe me its true if you have a pure heart and you seek from within you to. I will never forget it and am thankful I was able to have this experience of light energy.

Hey! Check out Daniel Ingram, he's a pragmatic dharma guy and can easily explain this in a lot of interviews and his books. But essentially, what you experienced is what's called the arising and passing away which is a normal thing for people that actually practice meditation.
@@lukaslasso i was blessed then because I didn't meditate i just read alot of spiritual stuff as a teenager and I think it put me on a higher frequency of thinking. All I can say is to glow from within is in its self amazing 👏 I wouldn't have thought possible, I was a teenager with my friends at the time.. I was sure they could feel it coming from me but I never said anything. I was very pure of heart though I will say that.

That said, amazing that you had the experience! Now get some more of where that came from without trying to make sense of it. Making sense of it takes you further from what it can give you. Even what I told you is not trustable as its again, a framework (although way better and scientific than the vibrational frequency bs)

Oh god. I have visited the Pharping area multiple times, felt there should be something special. After sometime, I found some teachings of tulku rinpoche and heard that there is cave named Asuri cave where Padmasambhava meditated. Again, I discovered this channel and found many proofs of Padmasambhava that he walked in our land. We have to preserve his teachings. It is true blessings for all of us.

According to the tradition I am aware of, we are in a decending kali yuga major cycle, but in an ascending dwapara yuga minor cycle. The boat is still sinking but we are running up the deck slightly faster :)

I had a dream about padmasambhava before I knew who he was. When I woke up I had to Google mustached Buddha, rainbow bellied Buddha to find out who he was. In the dream I was him at first, I was the Buddha looking at a table of offerings, an altar offering table somewhere in San Francisco, where people placed flowers and created an altar. and I knew(as him) that the people that left the offering were very blessed to make such an offering. And I as the Buddha was very joyful, from The beauty of the flowers and the gratefulness I felt from the room of offerings . Then suddenly I was outside of him, seeing him with big eyes and a crazy big smile in purple robes with a mustache and rainbows coming out from his stomach. He pointed to a framed image of a baby on the table to the left of his framed image. He said ‘Amitabha’. Which I understood as him saying-pray to him not me. Then together we went in to an inner room where I saw a window opening out to outer space, with a lightning field in the darkness of space. I wanted to go fly there. I thought, if I can be a Buddha I can do anything! I want to know about that light, the source beginning of light itself! And I laughed with the pure joy of a child and I pressed my hand into a fist and flew out the window like Superman towards the lightning. I can’t remember anything after that. I woke and I learned after researching that there was a mustache wearing Buddha who taught about the rainbow body and making the fist is his mudra a teaching called The lightning path. And I learned Amitabha is the Buddha of infinite light. This dream came the night that I made very deep promises before bed, inspired by Nelson Mandela and his deep compassion, I promised to be compassionate and at least stop eating meat. I’ve deduced that I made a promise that opened me to this Buddha plane. Still I pay more attention to him then Amitabha , because he’s so inspiring and active but I’m learning from this dream and hope to understand more .
Guru Padmasambhava has clearly spoken with you and in one dream shared his lineage teachings. May you find a qualified Rinpoche or teacher of the Nymapa (old school) branch of Tibetan Buddhism and learn the practices. Everything will come naturally to you. The pathway is clearly open for you to just walk it.

I look forward to watching this! PB is one of my spiritual heroes, sweet! Padmasambhava, IMHO, was the most badass master of all time. He did the utmost in spiritual fitness. Why do we follow people like Padmasambhava? Because they became masters, and no one today is nowhere near such a bilocating badass. They are called boddhisattvas for a reason, like Vajra Sattva. They don't come back to sit around, do nothing, and enjoy their enlightenment. No, they come back to help, and leave a trail for those humble enough to join the party. To inspire. To animate and illuminate us with their energies. Men like Padmasambhava, or even Jesus Christ, have done work in other realms, which can bolster our path here in the dense entropy of materialism. There are countless ways to get help and level up faster and faster (we only have one lifetime to become enlightened, after all, otherwise, it's game over, try again, better luck next time). Jesus paved the gnostic way beyond death, since it is ruled by "powers and principalities", just like Vajrayana Buddhism does. Padmasambhava can help us attain incredible heights as well. After all, something like Tibetan Buddhism is heavily endowed with magic (the real Tibetan Buddhism, not your Sunday variety form masquerading today). There are certain things that can only be shared from a master to a master-to-be. Naturally, we may assume that we do it all within ourselves, that we have everything we need, but then, we'd have nothing to be grateful for, and the invisible world would have much less of a charge. It's a beautiful cycle, that's why Hinduism recommends you connect with masters during your lifetime, especially if you wish to awaken fully (and beyond, like Sri Yukteswar guiding Paramahansa Yogananda). Singing a mantra like Om Mani Padme Hum, or PB's, elevates our vibration and helps us connect to the higher heavens. We would be wise to both take counsel with the masters, even if they are invisible, and also liberate ourselves in our own time. We have the means at our disposal. Blessings of enlightenment and freedom to all!

The quantum mechanics mentioned is decades old, what bleeding edge? This stuff is mundane by now. Didn't notice any BS, myself, but I also recognize QM refers to many competing and mutually exclusive seeming theories.

The most important point is, although we use dualistic means, the goal is to realize our non-dual, ever present, nature of consciousness (expained as emptiness, clarity, & bliss). Guru Rinpoche (and an enlightened physical guru as well)

We need to address the process of resonance from the master such as Guru Rinpoche, into the environment and minds of disciples. What happens to those who resist the tuning of the presence of an enlightened being. Thus, these blessings have different effects on the stratification of beings depending upon their intentions. This should be included in the discussion to clarify how love-wisdom either manifests in the lives of beings or doesn't depending upon their delusions, illusions and emotional afflictions. From the age of 12 i have always been interested in Budism, Hinduism and Shamanism and found many teachings to be true. Actual experience by seeking/trying/walking the pathless path will reveal many realizations. Knowing the self in all its aspects is to know the entire existence… Consciousness is the source of ALL manifestations. Anyone can testify that all manifestations are temporary phenomena…. So what remains and has no form, no beginning and no end…? All we have created are perceptions and identifications. The only foundation they have is in the manifestation of the temporal mind….

When activated, several tuning forks will start vibrating in turn...even if great care is taken to sync them...there will be a slight delay among them. If activated one after another there will be an out of phase set of vibrations as with a monochord. This may be also present when several monks say a mantra together. The off phase is similar to a delay effect. If the off phase has a wider interval of time there will be an echo effect that puts in the concept of Space....

Thank yoj for thos amazing video of analysis on guru rimpoches manifestations and unravelling the magic and power behind it. Please make more such videos on the various other manifestations of guru rimpoche which are not that famously known by many. There are so many holy places in Bhutan where guru displayed many other forms like a bull, a garuda etc to subdue demon. Would love to see a detailed analysis video on these lesser known manifesrations as well.

Blessings to you as well dear friend, learning about Padma and listening to all his terma treasures until I truly understood what was being implied, then I started to incorporate it into my stream of being. Only then did I truly understand what all the ancients meant when they say it transcends language and thought. So many life long questions seemed to be answered all at once. Again thank you! I do have one question, is there any information on what happened to Padma after he went to tame the Nagas?

Y luego continuando con un min. de 3h semanales (idealmente interdiario) podrias estar lista, en 6 meses. Es tu DECISION y Disposición. Si eres mayor de 60 anos, nada como aprender un Nuevo Idioma, para alejar los efectos de la senilidad, Alzheimer y similares. (Problemas con mi teclado, no me permiten acentuar debidamente.!)

This is a clear example of how to destroy a good documentary in the editing room.
Just as a little, inoffensive advice: it's a documentary about Padmasambhava, about one of the most important figures of Buddhism, all those heavy sound fx revealing nothing shocking, the SCI-FI type of code and style used to print the names of people and the deep, intense and almost aggressive voice over, makes it feel like I'm watching an episode of "Ancient Aliens".

This film is very misleading. Putting the word "quantum" in front of everything doesn't make it legitimate science, and describing Padmasambhava as a quantum physicist or the "father of quantum physics" is nonsense.
I seriously doubt the lamas and nuns interviewed knew their statements would be used to try to promote what is essentially a New Age agenda. The others simply didn't know what they were talking about.

This film is as misleading as anybody likes it to be, it depends on one's viewpoint and interpretation. For me, many of the concepts talked about here makes intuitive sense. Don't get caught up in nitty gritty details, enjoy it for what it is 🙏🌿 Peace 🎶💚🕉️
