When i play certain notes in my esraj like C in the 5th octave, it makes a sound as if a metal piece is vibrated . I don't understand what's the reason. Does anybody have a solution?
your main string can touch the frets or a sympathetic string. A sympathetic stzring could touch the fret or a main string or cansnare by its peg or even the bridge. Check your strings's height (easy to solve) or in a worse case the height of your frets (rather a bad problem then) more info here: www.denovaire.at/webshop/?product=esraj-handbook
