@Providenza both of them were being ironic in that interview; both trying to give the most ridiculous and stupid answers they could while they tried to keep a straight face.
Even still, when bbno$b said his lyrics were gibberish, he was referring to a very specific section just before the pre-chorus (that feature Baby's lyrics completely switching topics after every four syllables- and therefore not having a distinct cohesive meaning or theme).
At very most, one could argue that he briefly breaks character from the way he is playing the rest of the interview. But in reference to-
"she paid for peni$
she licks the peni$
I had to leave
I drank a lot of alcohol
I suppose that I'm rich"-
I don't think calling these lyrics gibberish is a very far stretch.
Putting all of that aside, a couple lines in his lyrics refer to COVID-19 does not in any way make this song "deep."
It's really just a blatant misuse of the word.
He essentially says that the listeners should be responsible adults and make sure to wear their masks in public.
This is one of my favorite songs right now, but it contains nothing deep.
It's literal and direct. It's surface-level af, and can only really be taken at face value. Personally I actually find it rather impressive that he's able to make such a lit flow and deliver such a sick track while using a lyric that is so surface level and absolutely not deep in the slightest at all.
If you're referring to their stance on vaccinations relating to the pandemic coming through in the song, one might say that the lyrics happen to be slightly politically charged.
