Don't get me wrong. Yesung in It's You does an amazing job. But Ryeowook, oh God, he kills it. The high notes are a bit higher than Yesungs's I think, as he has a different range and his voice fits it much better in my opinion. I love ss5 version of It's You so much, precisely because of Ryeowook. I would love to have a studio recording of that as well... And he is doing that dancing like it's easy *dead*

Yeah, Ryeowook does amazingly (because he's Ryeowook, so, of course he does), but listening to the studio version of this, Yesung brings a raw emotion to those adlibs that really suit the feel of the song. But I can't imagine any other member besides Ryeowook covering it for him. He brought his own flavor. It could have worked with either of them (but at that time Ryeowook was pushed to the background, despite having a very strong voice). I'm wondering if Yesung is going to handle some of Ryeowook's parts since it's now Wook who's in the military. I hope so.
Both sang well for the ad-libs part but I prefer Ryeowook's version (may be I am bias, idk), tbh, Ryeowook's voice is so unique, I guess its not easy to replace him for his part, and I can imagine the song will lose its original flavour if not him....you know his role can be replaced but not his voice!
