Oh a huge WOW. This was a fantastic discussion, so informative. I only found out a few years ago, via a visit to Taronga Zoo, that Corroboree Frogs are tiny. For some reason I thought they were the same size as green tree frogs. Such precious cargo in those containers, only 50 left in the wild. And 17 years old! that's a froggy achievement. Hope they get a treat on their nominated birthday. :)

I heard there are only 3.. err what were they called again? Theres only 3 antelope related animals left in the wild. I think.

Chytrid fungus. Has wiped out many frog species, not just in Australia but also around the world.

I searched up Corroboree frog, and it says that they're poisonous. So that might be another reason for gloves.
Is those frogs poisonous?
