So glad I caught this early Mike...That Clutch...I have been waiting for yrs for them to release that on Vinyl. Its not on their website and I must have missed them announcing it. So glad I saw it on todays video. I would have been sick if I had missed out on this one. Thanks for the Weekly videos Mike I do appreciate them!!

The Pablo reissues are a curious choice. The originals sounds amazing, are in plentiful supply and are cheap here in the UK.
Agree could have bought every one in this series yesterday for £3 to £8 so I'll be skipping these
Not everything needs to be reissued , and Pablo records are a perfect example.
Rather have these re-issues than more Billy Joel or Steely Dan re-issues.

No surprise that it takes Mike of the In Groove to solve the mystery of Pablo records for me. You see after decades of collecting I just last month came across a vast collection of Pablo labeled jazz albums at a local record store. Never heard of this label. Apparently the owner bought a collection from a former radio executive. He collected mostly jazz and many were on this Pablo label. The owner knew nothing of this label but assured me they sounded great. 👍. I bought a few and yes they sound great. 😊. Now I own a few more , all big jazz names, all sound very detailed.

I know that this is off topic , but just wondering if Marquee Moon cut by Kevin Gray would ever get a repress . I know that it's limited to 5,000 copies which is very low and I'm kicking myself for not getting it . Maybe a different color ??? Thanks !!!
I actually compared my AJA OG US AB1006 issue with the QRP UHRQ45 and although the original is excellent, the QRP improves on that original. I compared them track by track. It's also pretty cool that Bernie Grundman had another shot at mastering and cutting this classic Steely Dan record.
Gotta admit I am tempted to buy that all-analog, Kevin Gray-cut Electric Warrior even though I have two nice 70s US pressings and still need the original UK. Am I really going to own four copies of that album at some point? Yes, of course I will.
I am also interested in the all-analog Are You Experienced? Is there also a $20 all-analog Axis: Bold As Love? That I would be obligated to buy since I do not have a single copy of it.
I picture the Antidote record sounding like the woman singing the "Oil Spill" song in Bob's Burgers, haha.

Glad I have Black Sabbath eternal idol on vinyl since it is not part of the reissues. But it is a digital recording. Need all analog release if possible.
It's a digital recording so how could it be re-released as all analogue?

@@Drivehead103 The whole analogue digital thing is misguided. A well recorded and mastered LP that was recorded on a digital system will sound well recorded and mastered. Most if not all of the classic HM LPs from the 80s were produced this way. Quality mastering is key.
@@boogiewoogie9770 no doubt, when done right digital can sound fantastic. Dire straits Brothers in arms Mobile Fidelity is one of the best sounding albums you'll ever hear and it is digital. Problem is most of the time digital does not sound good because it is not done properly. Digital can even help clean up poor sounding analog recordings. I also have some direct metal Master records that sound fantastic but usually they sound harsh. Seems like direct metal mastering would be the best way to do vinyl but for whatever reason they are usually very harsh.

The Blue Notes are May 17, not April.

Todos Os Olhos by Tom Ze is a fantastic album. You didn't seem to know it, but it's well worth owning.And the cover photo is gross!

For me the Tony Martin era Sabbath is under appreciated. Except for Forbidden. That is an awful release. Hopefully the Remix will help.
