Okay so I finally made it, 7 months after I first found this video - took me all this time to finally buy the tools and leather and do it! It came out great! I used the same weight leather on the inside which makes it quite bulky, but I didn’t have a thinner leather to use so I just went for it. Aside from typical wonkiness from it being my first project without using precut pieces, I’m thrilled - I love it!
This is not the best pattern. It seems like the measurements are off and some pieces are missing in the pattern, compared to what is built in the video. I would not recommend this pattern to anyone
