When I was 5, my mother broke her leg, ankle and foot by slipping on morning dew and falling down a small hill. The angle was just enough to cause such major damage.. As she healed, it became customary for me to open doors/hold doors for her. Then, after my mom suggested it, I started doing it for other people to see what they'd think. The way their faces lit up seeing a little kid tug on a big heavy door and hold it just for them made me feel so cool, it ended up becoming a habit. It's been over 13 years since the Breaking of The Bones and I haven't stopped, yet. Thanks for showing me that neat trick, mom.💕

I've been through depression before, but I'm glad to say I'm on the backside of it. Pretty much, if you feel depressed, do something, and give the middle finger to your depression. I actually based a character in one of my stories off of this idea. She knows how it feels to be defenseless, so she protects people that can't protect themselves. She could technically take over the world, either by buying every property there is or by using brute force, but all she wants to do is make the world a bit safer than it was before. Sure, many of her actions are morally questionable, but even when she hates a nation, she puts plans in motion to help that nation defend itself. She's a neutral good character, so to speak.
This will be hard for me to explain. For me it is both. Not at the same time. Like in waves. What goes up, must come down. But I've been more and less depressed at different times here. It doesn't know how to do the flat thing. It needs to wave or it'll self destruct. I kind of want to laugh, scream, and cry. Also kind want to hit something. But I don't do that. Every emotional reaction to something is rolling dice. And if I roll a 1, I don't feel like living anymore. BPD is some bullshit, man. I'm so tired.
