    Hey Tom,
    Nice cinematography on the start of the second morning…very artistic and it puts the viewer right in the moment.
    I think you’ve coined a new fishing term NPL (New Personal Least)!
    Thanks as always!

    Hey Tom just wanted to let you know that I love your Videos. I had just watched this video and the next day I was out at the lake and had a carp on well wouldn't you know it he got himself stuck in the weeds. In my head I heard you saying about just keeping the pressure on the line. Well man I thought for sure I was going to lose this fish. It really felt like he had me snagged up, well after a bit he got himself out of the weeds and I managed to get him landed. Keep up the great vids

    You should start selling slamming Almond tiger Nuts 🤘😎🤘 I already buy from you the feeder sinkers and last week I got your carp hooks! I’m berry satisfied. Love your videos and your teaching section and cooking

    You never seem to have enough line on your reel Tom.

    For years I wondered "where are the small, juvenile carp?" After sixty years of fishing I still have no clue. Thanks for having no clue with me.

    I was wondering what river pack bait was also, my PL was about two half pounds when you find out where all the small ones are let us all know. I always thought the small ones maybe just ate moss or plankton. Another good video thanks Tom

    Another great video. QQ, after watching a number of your videos, I decided to try fishing a local river (Raritan River in NJ) and was wondering what type of line (braid, mono, flouro) you recommend I use?
    Thanks, Joe

      I've used both mono and braid extensively, and for carp fishing mono is superior in almost every way. These days I only use braid if I need to cast really far. My full gear and tackle list is always in the video description for reference.

    I love your videos! I have a question have you ever used river pack bait? I started using it because it stays good longer

      @@OutsidewithTom typo I’m sorry, rice pack bait. Thanks for the reply

    When you cast , you grab the line as the pack hits the water. Does keep the hair rig from tangling in the pack?

    • @OutsidewithTom
      @OutsidewithTom 10 місяців тому

      I do that to stop the line peeling off the spool. That allows me to keep tension on the line as the rig falls to the bottom. That allows me to feel when the bait hits the bottom, and get an estimate of water depth. It also slows down the rig right before it hits the water so it doesn't impact the surface as hard.
