Nice! Basically the only requirement is to like animals. The furry fandom is for fans of anthropomorphic animals, or animals with human like quality's, this can be anywhere from making human like expressions (like for example in the land before time) to standing on two legs (like in Zootopia). A fursuit is what the people in the above video are wearing. Fursuiting (the act of wearing a fursuit) is basically just furry cosplay. The furry fandom is well known for its original characters, while other fandoms dress up as characters from shows or games, the furry community dresses up as their own original creations! Most people create a character to represent themselves, this is called a fursona. Fursonas can be any species, color, size, etc. It can even be a creature that you came up with, as long as it is some kind of animal (type thing). My fursona is an animal hybrid of a dog, giraffe, bird, and crocodile (Clayton Dogoraffe). If you're having trouble coming up with your own fursona you can always adopt one! These are called adoptables and you can usually find them pretty easy online just by searching 'Furry adoptables' you can also commission someone to design you one. Most of the furry community does some sort of art (sing, dance, draw, etc) but you don't have to do this to be a furry, neither do you have to have a fursuit or a fursona. Like I said earlier, the only requirement is to like animals!! Sorry about the long comment 😅 hope it helped though. I had to search through a lot of websites and ask around to figure out all of this for myself, so I thought I'd sum it all up for you! Oh, and something I forgot to mention is that there are also plenty of cons to go to. This video was taken at Painted Desert Fur Con (PDFC) February 2nd, 2019 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Phoenix, AZ is one of the most popular furry areas as far as I know

Yes, so basically, just be a humanoid animal thing who acts either human or animal like.
I have spotted myself at 3:29.
And would you look at that, it's a pile of cat trash.
