- Nature - Wild Life - Insect Life. Calliteara Pudibunda is found in Europe, Anatolia, Caucasus, western Siberia, eastern Transbaikalia and the Amur basin in south-eastern Russia, Korea, China and northern Vietnam. The caterpillar feeds on oak, beech, willow, birch, Prunus and Crataegus species.
The moth flies from April to June. The caterpillar can be found in forests at a maximum elevation of 1800 meters above the sea level, form July to October. The length of the caterpillar is approximately 50 millimeters. Thank you very much for watching my videos!
