    When it is used wint the legs kit you need something for driving it. It's difficult diving with the doble attached on your legs?

    You mention flight and bring it in the carry-on. Don’t they x-ray that? Will they accept this as it’s made of metal?

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      Yes they do. I’ve had the P1 on 4 flights now! In the past, I’ve flown with both the S1 and other brands like Subnardo and Scubajet(all of them also made of metal).
      The battery is the concern of the airlines, and they(most airlines, so always check before you go) will allow you to bring two 100Wh batteries or one 160Wh. The only issue you’ll have going through security is the people there wanting to know what it is and looking jealous at you when you tell them.
      I always take it out of the backpack and tell people at security before it goes into the x-ray so that they know it’s there.
      Always good to double-check with your airline, though!

    How is the buoyancy? That was mine main complaint about my S1, its not even close to neutral so I made a larger nose cone and filled it with foam

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому +1

      The P1 has the same issue. It's negatively buoyant and slightly more so than the S1 pro.
      There's a foam attachment coming that will combat this, but we have yet to try it out, so we don't know how much or how it'll work.

      @@DIVEindotcom Thanks for the info, the one I made works very well. Pretty simple design made on my 3D printer and filled with closed foam.

    Looks nice,, where did you get it from?

      It's the new Lefeet p1. You can get it on www.kickstarter.com/projects/lefeet-p1/lefeet-p1-versatile-underwater-scooter-with-modular-design or wait for them to start selling directly on their own website.

    I like it but I don't wanna buy on kickstarter. When will this be for sale in real stores?

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      I don't know. I'd guess within 6 months it'll be out in shops as well.

    What will it be like in full cold water gear, twins and 4-7c temp?

    I've used the S1 Pro for my diving trips. Is the upgrade to P1 worth it?

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      No, I wouldn't. If you're happy with the S1 Pro and it meets your needs, you don't need to upgrade.

    Is the battery life better than the S1 Pro? I found the S1 a bit lacking for longer dives

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      Yes! The P1 has a better battery than the S1 Pro. So you get longer time in the water and more fun :)

    Wow, the P1 looks cool! Is it much better than the S1 Pro?

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      It's more powerfull, more compact and longer battery time. I'd suggest you to get the new one, but not change if you already have an S1 PRO.

    Does it have any cool features like LED lights for night dives?

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      No, unlike the Scubajet, which you can get with a mounted light, the P1 does not come with any light options. I’m guessing you can somehow attach a light to the rails.
      Do be cautious if using it at night. You’re moving fast, and you might risk bumping into stuff underwater

    Is the battery 🪫🔋 life really as good as they say?? 🤔 🤨

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      From my experience, the battery life on the P1 is solid. It lasted through all my tests without issues, which is great for longer sessions underwater.

    The modular design seems nice for travel, but won’t it affect the scooter's performance?

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      Great question! I don’t see how it can compromise performance. I’d say that it makes the P1 versatile while it still has great power.

    The only issue i guess is the battery time and recharge time... unless ur rich enuf to bring a lot of it

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

    Is it easy to fix if something goes wrong?

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      Yes, and no. Most parts can be taken apart and switched out. So if something breaks, you can fix it. That said, if it happens on the water, you can’t do much. That’s the same for any underwater scooter.
      Most things I’ve had to fix on an underwater scooter are hair(from the pool) and seaweeds getting stuck in the Impeller. In most cases, you can get it out without taking it apart.

    Can I bring this on a livaboard?

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      Yes, I'd assume. It's flight-safe, so I don't see any issue on a liveaboard. To be 100% sure contact the livaboard company before you go.

    Is it kids friendly?

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      Absolutely, with proper supervision. As you can see, my kids, aged 9 and 7, can use it without any issues. The double mount was too much for my daughter at 7, but single was no issue.
      The design is user-friendly, but I always recommend adult supervision for younger users.

    What is the depth limit for scuba 🤿 divers?

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      It has a dept rating of 197 feet / 60 meters. So, works for most dives.

    Does carrying it make you tired when you swim for a long time?

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      Not really! If you’re using the double mount and at full speed, you can get a bit tired of holding on if you’re going for a long time. But you can just slow down to relax a bit.

    Looks really beat up already for such a new product..

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      That was me testing it and giving it a rough time. I gave it a "scrub" on concrete to see if I could break it, but it's still working.
      The paint on the bottom rail didn't last, but this was not on normal use. A really solid product.

    I'm skeptical about these gadgets. Aren't they just a gimmick for divers?

    • @DIVEindotcom
      @DIVEindotcom  3 місяці тому

      Yes, but a fun gimmick. I’ve literally had hours of fun with these in the pool with my kids. I love the feeling of flying in the water when I’m free diving, and it helps divers on long swims. Is this something you can live without? Yes, for sure!

      If you’re into snorkeling, I don’t know that I’d use the word ‘gimmick’. It adds a completely different dimension to underwater activities.
