No it's not false do your research and you'll see that no one goes to heaven when you die. You think it's that easy to go to heaven no it's not first you have to be judged before you go to heaven. And guess what God's decision is, he said the dead and the righteous shall go to heaven first then everyone who is still living will go to heaven after that who is righteous. Everyone doesn't just get a free pass to heaven when you die lol. So you're false not me I know way more than you when it comes to God and going to heaven. Ask someone else about this and you'll see no one goes to heaven until you are judged for your sins first you'll see sorry to tell you that whoever you lost is not in heaven right now look it up ask around....

Dear Simon, Prince's estate, and Sainted: I'm thanking you from Detroit. I saw this and thought, "I have to call my cousin!" Suddenly, I remembered he passed away 2 yrs ago. He was Prince's bodyguard. This was an amazing heartfelt tribute I will never forget.

I love this! Purple Rain is truly dear to my heart. This was my 3 year old granddaughters’ Kinsleys’ favorite song. She would sing and dance to this song for hours. Kinsley passed away on July 8, 2023 from Cancer. I know that while you were performing this she was in Heaven dancing, sing and rejoicing along with you all. Thank you for doing such an awesome job on this song. I my Kinsley would have been happy!

I knew Purple Rain was a good song, but I never knew why people considered it a classic...until I heard this version. This performance broke my heart open in the best way possible. Thank you to Sainted performing this so beautifully. You guys are classic!!!! Prince's Estate and Team did right by saying yes to this performance-they recruited another fan by saying yes to Sainted and Simon!!!

I wish to say this right . I'm a white man raised in Gospel music . I love what is called " Black Gospel Music ". Our Black Brothers and Sister's have led all of us through Church history with their wonderful Godly spirit and most talented voices and art . They truly have added and helped us to worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth !
I'm so grateful for all of my brothers and Sisters in the Black Church . Not that all Black Churches are of one color . In fact , I do not think of race that way , But for this video , I needed to point out the respect I have for this particular race of people ! I know the Lord loves to be worship with all of our heart's !

This is just a really great choir, singing in a uniquely black American style. They're oviously super talented but there was no "Gospel" in this performance! 🙏

I love your reply! I am a Pentecostal preachers kid and I too was trying to figure out how to explain the same thing.
We’d get done with Sunday night service about 10:00 pm, then a bunch of us (15-20 people) would go over to their church. We had many many mixed race in our 165 voice choir and sang jazz-gospel and black-gospel. I don’t know how else to explain it.
The power of God would come with us and we would continue to worship the power and blessings of God into the wee hours of the morning.
That’s when I was a young person.
I am now 66 years old and can feel the spirit in how they sing this song.
They ABSOLUTELY did Prince proud!! ❤❤❤

@@BotfromChina This is exactly the kind of thing Prince would've approved. A lot of artists tried to sample Prince and were denied, but he approved MC Hammer request to sample When Doves Cry for his song Pray because of the spiritual nature of the song. Prince absolutely would've green lit this.
@@BotfromChina I’m sure that’s why his estate is so extremely particular about who they grant permissions to…. He didn’t want just anybody and everybody just doing covers. I think they said this is the ONLY time they’ve given anyone consent to do Purple Rain. I’m sure they had to have the exact right “heart” and purpose to be able to honor and do it justice for them to grant permission.

I was crying before they even started singing. I just knew it was gonna be awesome. But when that one lady came up the middle and opened her lungs, my jaw dropped. That powerful yet beautiful voice of hers could raise the dead to their feet. My goodness how powerful and uplifting that was. 👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤
That lady hit that note in the middle of the performance and my eye balls almost dropped out of their sockets. Then came the Lead's head voice. Gosh, he is good. That was EPIC!!! Flawless on all fronts.

Prince was there with them, he had to have been. That was the best performance I have ever seen by far hands down!! That was crazy insane good. It did, it brought everything back, it was like a movie in my head of all the years and music of Prince. Right up to, well right up to the last time I saw him at his best let's just put it that way. I choose to remember him then. I think Prince completed his journey here and did everything he set out to do and more. He felt he was done and went home. To us though, it wasn't over and we just wanted more of his greatness and his genuineness. He was invincible to us, someone who didn't age, but stood the test of time. There will never be anyone that will even come close to what Prince was and who he was. But this right here? Was as close to perfection as you can get and I know without a shadow of a doubt that Prince had an Angelic hand in it. He gave them the fortitude, the confidence, and he was in every one of them, telling them to go at it with everything they are and with everything they have Inside of them. Give them the greatest performance there ever was and they did. They did that and so much more. Prince was applauding them right there on that stage. Of that I have no doubt In my mind.
